Pictures from the last few weeks of one of my very favorite shawls (in two colorways). Sigh, I wish that I could find the turquoise blue....
I sold my yellow one and now have a BAD case of seller's REGRET!! :panic::shrugs:I also have the pink. Love Concours!! If you see a YELLOW one out there please let me know!! :flowers: Yours are gorgeous!!!

Hope this isn't off-topic!
Ladies, if any of you see a Kelly en Caleche GM in CW 06, will you please PM me and let me know?
Thanks :hugs:

Hi Vigee - which colorway is 6? I know the pale blue, yellow, orange, black, and pink but know none by CW.

I think CW06 has a natural background with details in various shades of brown, and a bit of black. Is that the one you're looking for? Here's a link to some of the CWs.

Trying to gin up some love for the Missing Horse!
Technically not a GM, these are 100cm.
Just acquired my second today, so I'm pairing them up for a 200cm
A TGM, of sorts! More pics in the fall thread

I love cascading knot for shawl and you did it to perfection!

Many thanks for sharing your thoughts and experiences, Chestnutty!
You're very welcome. I didn't notice that until a scarfie told me so. Better be careful then.

I have a velvet brush, exactly the one shown on Maitai's blog. My honest opinion is that we stay away from it. It's good for lint-removal and brushing pilling from 2-ply cashmere or thick sweaters, but not fabric that is one-ply like our shawls. Even though it does the work without causing immediate pulls, it causes the thread structure to move from its original location, hence makes more pull-prone afterwards.
I had tried the velvet brush on my Coaching shawl. It worked but I was very nervous when I saw the threads being stretched. So, your call :smile1:. I myself prefer pilling over pulls.
I am personally over the period when I'm bothered by pilling after wears. My workhorse Coaching has much pilling in the center, but I'm gonna let the pilling ball up and fall off then.

I very much agree. Am not really bothered by the pilling :hugs:

Thank you, dear friends! Fall was a great season and Spring has its share of beauties, with some surprises, I'm sure!:graucho:

This combination looks beautiful, Monceau! Love the fringe, it's so pretty!

Doubly fabulous Monceau. I can see why you are in love with the missing horse design.

Monceau, these two look great together!
