Silkies - the cashmere brush from the laundress arrived today. With great trepidation, I used it and it was a success. Here are some before and after shots. I was having a hard time getting the exact same area in each shot so you might have to do some rotating in your head iykwim. I think the areas in question have improved significantly and I would give the product high marks.

My technique - brush lightly, brush in grain of cashmere, brush each area in question with about 5 strokes

It took awhile to get the pressure right but luckily I do not see shifting of the fibers. HTH

Nice job- it looks like you have the technique down to an art whereby you put the pilled fibers perfectly back in place. This is a much better fix rather than removing the pills because you do not take away any of the fabric which inevitably causes thinning. Bravo!

:girlsigh:Wow. This is absolutely stunning, katika. As chincac said, simply dreamy. I was hoping to stay on ban island but after seeing this one, there is no way I can...oh well. :shucks:

Just one other Input.
Do your new Shawls also come in square boxes?
I asked for my beloved rectangular ones, they told me that they were no longer available.....
Oh no.... I store my Shawls in their boxes... These square ones kill my System...
