Scarves Ode to the Cashmere/Silk GM/Tri Shawls

I am at the point in my collection that I can buy just one or two scarves/shawls per season and not feel deprived or that I am missing out. My cc's are in deep freeze.
Less really is more- keep/buy only what you truly love and will use.

It all happened innocently enough I went to the boutique to exchange a lagon clic h for a clic clac but that's another story. Anyway, the boutique was chock FULL of the new season's GMs... and once I laid my eyes on this one well .here it is. My first (and hopefully for my pathetic wallet's sake, last) SS2014 GM. La Songe de la L in cw #6, blanch/vert d' eau/mauve
(and I had to grab the braclets because .well, you can see why
(Warning: If you like pastels, you are in big trouble this season ..)

This one of my first reply but I want to take more time for that!
To remove pilly stuff on my GMs I use one a special electrical razor.
It is very similar to this one

One very important thing is that you can use it with without changing batteries all the time.
Because when you begin to take the pilly stuff on one GM you want to do it on all your shawls
Be carreful on the "roulotte" not to cut it! and be patient, result will be great

Have you tried this velvet brush technique, BritAbroad? Seems perhaps the safest option.
