My love for Bolide! Size 31, 25 and mini. Love my bolide 31 as i use it for travel!

When is the last time anyone saw a Bolide 35 new at the store? I ask because I recently got a vintage 37 (which I understand is the same as a 35) for work and love it much more than I expected. Of course now I want another. Mine is a 37 from 1992 in Peau Porc, but unfortunately it's been repainted to black (originally Camel or Caramel?) and is missing all it's attachments. Love it anyway though.
Wow! Love to see your Bolide 35 vintage pigskin (peau de porc), as I have an item in pigskin as well, but from 2022 (U stamp). I think the original colour used to be Toffee (Colour Code: 1H), judging by the colour of the zipper fabric.
Just wondering, is that metal wire structure a Kelly? If so, that is super neat! Where did you purchase it?
I don’t think the 35 is in production now, and I have the sense that the 27 and mini aren’t abundant.
Oh Toffee, yes that makes sense! DH has a few modern pigskin pieces as well. And yes, wire frame art piece is supposed to be a Kelly and was a gift from a friend a few years ago.
Thanks that confirms my suspicion. I didn't see any on the sales price forum for 2024 and it's off the list in the 2025 thread, nor have I seen any recent ones for sale secondhand that have a later-than-mid-2010s production stamp. Sadness...I always discover something I like right after it goes out of production 🫠
I haven't seen a 35 B at the store in ages. I have 3 Bolides 37/35 all bought pre-owned, one is Peau Porc like yours but in it's original Caramel colour, from 1993. It's my ideal bag and size and I'm pretty annoyed that H doesn't make them anymore, they've also stopped making the 31

I think it's just that they're following the trend of tiny bags. I don't find the Bolide heavy at all, not even my Clemence. Birkins are MUCH heavier, but they're still making them, even though there's less demand for 35s.
Did you get this information about the Bolide 31 from an SM in a Hermes store? Are they taking a pause in production or discontinued this model?I haven't seen a 35 B at the store in ages. Interesting. I know my husband's Clemence JPG B42s are quite heavy, especially the JGP1 with the HAC hardware. My Bolide 37 is such a feather though, I think the Peau Porc is very lightweight.

Yeah when I mentioned a larger Bolide to our SA he thought I was talking about one of those. I think it's a cool travel bag, and I believe that size is closer to the original size from the 1920s, but the 35 is "just right" for work and my laptop.
