Uhh... I'm so sorry but I'm not too sure about the older style/sizes for bags. I am more familiar with smaller bags, including the mini Bolide and Bolide 25. I don't think they discontinued the Bolide 25, but I'm just making a guess.

Hello fellow Bolide lovers! I got this gorgeous 1923-25 in Epsom Biscuit from H.com. When I unveiled it, I noticed the zipper is not totally even (see circled bit) —- I assume it’s because it’s handmade but would love some views —- certainly hope it’s not a “defect” as this was long awaited!!

I'm assuming it doesn't go back to the original shape when you try to pop it back out from the inside?
If it doesn't then yes that's a manhandle mishap. Take it back to the store maybe they can spa it.
Thank you! Yep it doesn’t go back to the original shape indeed. Sorry, what’s a manhandle mishap? I haven’t removed the stickers on the hardware but a bit worried that if I bring it back to the store they will say nothing can be done -
Except return it for a refund and obv no guarantee I can get it again….!
I think they should be able to spa it. They should be able to heat up the leather and reshape it for you. Just bring it in and tell them it arrived like that. And if they can’t fix it then you can decide if you want to keep it.
In the picture it looks like the zipper tape (the material on either side of the zipper teeth) is sewn unevenly to the bag itself on the right side. It looks like the tape isn’t evenly spaced, but sewn super close to the leather on that side, instead of being an even 1/8-1/4” or so from the bag’s edge … is that true, or is it just the angle of the photo? If it really is sewn that wonkily, that’s poor craftsmanship IMHO and would bother me (especially for a bag of that price). But maybe it’s not as visible in person? If it doesn’t affect the bag’s functionality and won’t bother you every time you look at it or zip it closed, it’s probably not a big deal. But only you can make that call … good luck deciding! It’s a beautiful bag, regardless. 💙
