Yes, clemence is one of the heavier H leathers and box is one of the lighter offerings. There’s a wealth of info in the reference section on both, and a chat thread dedicated to box leather in the clubhouse section.
For those of you who had success getting a bolide from the boutique - did you request it from your SA / put it on your wishlist? Or did you happen to walk-in and ask and they had it or they just offered it on the spot? I asked my SA about one and she made it seem like I would have to be lucky and come on a day that they have a shipment. And that amongst 30 SAs all the bolides would be gone quickly. I was hoping that SAs would have some ability to reserve one for their clients… but in my store it almost seems like non-qb are first come first serve amongst anyone walking in. It almost seems harder to get than a qb !

I was able to get a mini through my SA in 2022 but I had to really push. Sadly, in 2020 I remember walking into my boutique and asking to see the mini bolide and they brought out the black and the rose pourpre. At the time, I didn’t know that I loved the Bolide so left with neither
((((((( Now, it seems quite hard to get one. The larger Bolides were available at the time on the website, easily found. Now, not so much. I did get my Bolide 31 on the secondary market as they seem to be easier to get and the price is much better than boutique. Which bag are you looking for?Good luck!

I requested from my SA and she said they don’t have a lot of those….as usual.
I reminded her twice (about once a month) I think I got it two months after asking.
Does anyone know the production numbers for bolide on wheels and if they are going to stop producing it?
I know that its a limited/special edition bag, but want to know more about the bag.

Mine was a wishlist around three months (and two other non QBs) in the making🤞🏼 Bolide 25 gold on gold
SA said something similar—they don’t have a lot of Bolides coming in. Hope you get yours soon!
I had to put it on my wishlist as they don’t get many in. It took 3-4 months I think. When it was offered, I did get to choose between two colors.
Not sure where you’re located, but at my store (US), my SA was able to place one on hold for me. He did make it sound like he’d have to be working on the day the bag arrives to grab it for me, but there was no obligation for me to pick it up same day. He just tagged it with my name and I purchased it the next time I came in.
Ooh how are your bags holding up? I don’t know much about this leather and was considering this vs chevre, but I think gold comes more often in evercolor
I doubt you'll ever be able to find out to the actual production numbers for any particular Hermès bag. There's a reason why Hermès appeals to many, it's the mystique.
Your SA/SM should be able to tell you if Bolide on Wheels ordered for your store has been fulfilled or if there's still some pending delivery. Similarly, they should be able to tell you if more was available at podium for a different season.

Although, I do remember hearing that someone said the Birkin Faubourg is limited to 50 in each colourway. But thats a different caliber of a bag... so perhaps thats why its a bold line
