That is tantalizing news!Papertiger is correct.Several weeks ago I read marketing on the H website which stated, “The Bolide is back on the line.” Although I haven’t seen them in store, they’re probably in warehouses, waiting to be loved.

Weeks ago, in the center of H’s homepage (where they have little videos or messages), H highlighted the Bolide bag with a picture of the wheel bag and/or the new uneven bag. The text read something about being gone, but back on the line — maybe for its 100th anniversary/birthday?
I’m surprised H hasn’t announced a celebration.

I’ve been wanting a bolide 27 almost as soon as I started shopping at H, but had held off asking for one since I couldn't decide on a color…until this week. Now I fervently want one in bleu glacier w/ PHW, but now the dilemma becomes whether I should ask for the 1923 style or the regular style.
if I like a more structured look, should I go for a bolide 1923 in size 30? Is blue glacier an impossible color to come by?

Does anyone know how heavy the Ardennes Bolide is in 31 or 35? I saw someone was kind enough to weigh their Clemence 35 (weight 1 pound, 14.6 oz. without strap and 2 pounds, .06 oz. with strap). I was wondering how much heavier the Ardenne would be. Thanks!
Is it rigide? I don't have my Fjord one anymore but it was slightly heavier than in Clemence/Togo, which I assumed was more about the construction than the leather itself.
I read that it is stiff and rigid like Epsom and holds its shape. Yes makes sense that it would be heavier then
Ardennes is lighter weight than Togo or Clemence. I had a Birkin in Ardennes and it was similar to Epsom in weight.

I was concerned that the 35 would be too large for my 5'5" slimmer frame, but I am looking for a bag that I can throw things into when out for the day without worrying too much about space.. They do have a return policy in case I decide on 31 instead.

I have a bag insert by MaiTai for my Bolide 31s, which I love. Though, I have found that the ones in clémence even with the insert remain rather slouchy. The handles slouch to the side when sitting. Once the leather relaxes, not much can be done in my experience especially since inserts only go up to the half way point since after there’s the zipper opening.
Now, for the most rigid leathers for the Bolide, my most rigid over the years have been chèvre mysore, ostrich, Ardenne, and alligator.
Bolides featured at the AW 2023 Women's RTW show in Paris (pics from Vogue). The Bolide 1923 25 is one of my favorite Hermes bags.
Does anyone know if Hermes is planning something special for the Bolide's 100th anniversary?
Also, are there any boutiques known to have really good inventory of the Bolide 1923 25? I might need to travel in order to get one, they're the least popular bag at my store, unfortunately (meaning we don't get any stock).
Thrilled to add this Bolide 1923 25 etoupe / epsom to my collection! I had gotten the Bolide 1923 30 but thought it was too big so gave it to my older sister, who's much more into large bags. The 25 is significantly smaller, but not so small that you can't fit anything. It's perfect for me!
