My newly-acquired peau porc 35 cm. Love this leather. Amazing this bag is 30 years old young.View attachment 5612549
Congratulations. It's so beautiful! Would never have guessed the age. Wear it in good health and happiness :hugs: I love the Bolide:heart:. It was my first H bag. I have size 31 and I actually prefer wearing it over my Birkin 30.

Thank you so much! This is my first Bolide and I am sure it won’t be the last. It is such a wonderful understated bag.

Want to ask you gals, my bolide is 20 years old, and im so terrified to use the rings for the sling.. i love to sling it but im so worried that the leather will break at that ring/sling area. anyone feels me?

I’m guessing you are referring to attaching a shoulder strap? Structurally it’s totally fine, however I recently used a (new) H wide strap and apparently there was some tarnish on the hardware that made a little stain on the zipper fabric. It was a bummer because the bag was pristine before that otherwise, but perhaps inevitable given that I almost always do a crossbody strap.

yeah im referring to the shoulder strap. I love to sling it, but im so worried that the leather ring will break because of the weight of the bag. I dont carry much, a small wallet, some cards, car keys, power bank, tissue packs and a lipstick.

my bolide is my most used bag, because of the natural colour, my daughter called it the camel bag. Mummy is bringing her camel bag to work again.

As I eagerly await the arrival of my Rubis Clémence Bolide 31 with PHW (:yahoo:), I have so enjoyed reading Feather Factor's own ode to the Bolide... A beautifully written piece that mentions the popularity of the Bolide in its native Paris and in Tokyo.
