I don’t know the answer to your question. I was able to snag a black Swift Kelly circa 2010 several years ago and am grateful I was able to find it.Hi everyone — I love swift and was thinking about buying a swift k25 noir. However I don’t see this often on resellers websites and the ones available are older (2017). Has Hermes discontinued k25 swift noir bags? Is there a chance I can score a new one?
Lucky you! Yes I’ve seen older swift black Kelly 25 but I’m wondering if they’re offering any podium orders recently. I can’t imagine that they wouldn’t since black is such a popular color especially for k25. But then again maybe it’s bc swift isn’t as popular as togo? Idk. Has anyone been offered a k25 swift noir phw bag recently?I don’t know the answer to your question. Several years ago I was doing a special order and wanted to get a Birkin in swift, and was turned down. Things seem to be cyclical with leathers and styles.Lucky you! Ditto, I have a 35 swift Birkin and love it. Snagged a 2014 preowned a few years ago but I don’t think it had ever been used, the bag was pristine. It’s graphite with gold hardware and is a beauty!birkin 35 swift isn’t made anymore ,so maybe it’s the same for the smaller sizes ? Swift is so amazing I have a 35 swift birkin and love it
I was just offered a B25 swift noir with GHW in Paris at the first of April. Hermes does not make a lot of B/K in swift but they are still in production. I really liked the shine that swift gives to the bag, it is so soft and supple and light! If you want a bag in swift I would suggest the reseller route because it may take a long time to get a store offer for one.Hi everyone — I love swift and was thinking about buying a swift k25 noir. I have this exact bag purchased from my local boutique in 2016. I don't think they are discontinued, but much rarer/less production than Togo or epsom. Have you told your SA that you love and prefer swift? They may not know to offer it to you since it can be a very specific leather that not everyone loves/wants.Hi everyone — I love swift and was thinking about buying a swift k25 noir. Well the title says all. I have only exotic Kelly's and now I wear looking to purchase a second hand Kelly 35 in a waterproof leather to use it as a workhorse.
Is Swift a good choice?
Thanks for all the info shared here. Love Swift so far through a larger Kelly case with notebook in it and Bastias. I think the leather is gorgeous: classy, great feel to the touch, subtle sheen - pure luxury - and: also much less prone to scratching than I thought.
My Bastias look better than the Epsom even after a few years of regular use.
If I could get Kelly in Sellier in Swift I would prefer this leather even a tiny bit over Chèvre (and huge Chèvre fan hear!)
Yet, heart palpitations to accept the Kelly 25 K25 retourné in Mushroom in Swift this year.
Only when my very experienced SA and her Artisan explained to me that especially with such a light colour they would choose Swift (and they would not wish for Epsom, because Swift would much much better be to repap - both for removing stains/colour transfer and scratches and corner wear -) did I buy it.
Has anyone here had cornerwear or colour transfer treated on a Swift bag?
Would appreciate any shared experience very much!
(E.g. : With my Courchevel Bolides - i.e. predecessor leather from Epsom - I had repairs - if sometimes visually great at first - were actually short-lived and usually back quickly upon use).
