I've never heard of a Sellier in Swift

Over Togo or Epsom I definitely prefer Swift. But that's quite clear, after 15 bags, many SLGs / 14 years of H collecting, 2 bags are Swift - and a a few SLGs, but none are Togo or Epsom. In fact, the only SLG I returned was Epsom. I have a single reversible belt strap that's Swift/Epsom, I seem to wear it Swift-side out most of the time.

I have nothing against Epsom or Togo, I realise that many people want things to look brand new 'forever' but to me the point of buying leather is that it ages so well, and I really enjoy natural patina. I do spa bags occasionally (even that service is over-used IMO) but I agree 100%, Swift seems to be easy to refresh.

I’ve had swift Kelly refurbished by Hermes and it literally came back new, @Pivoine66. Epsom is fantastic for structure, holds shape and takes colour (including black) beautifully. Togo is in my view very nice for retourne and more casual wear.
Thank you, dear papertiger and dear ladysarah for sharing your experience. :flowers:

I feel quite reassured now that the refurbishment of Swift leather seems to be going really well.

Totally crazy, but for the first time a Kelly is still lying unused in the open box - beautiful beaming Mushroom - . :girlsigh:
'Cause: Another inhibition is the Twilly. I love them, keep buying some, only to use the bags without - love the touch and feel of leather -
I know, I know, please don't say anything. (DH's rolling eyes are enough with every new little round box that migrates into the cupboard ...).

Wow so gorgeous. Can I ask how old is your swift birkin? All the bags are looking good. Wow

This is my little gulliver / swift family. The Birkin is swift and the Kelly’s all gulliver. Looking at them in the light, the grains are all the same. I closed my eyes and did a blind feely touch test and to my fingers, the gulliver bags were a touch softer. Barely discernible but I could feel the slight difference. Visually the leathers all look identical.

Cross posted in "latest Hermes purchase " thread, wanted to share in the Swift forum. I fell in love with Swift after buying a pouch which I use regularly - it still looks perfect, and is very hard wearing despite the supposed rep of Swift. So this B 25 in Etoupe seemed like it was meant for me! Really love this leather and trying not to pet the bag all day.

My new addition- love her but it's my first swift bag and I am so nervous. How's it been for those of you who have had swift bags for a while? Would love to hear your feedback!

Gorgeous. Had my swift in the same colour for a couple months only, not too long. The more l use it the more comfortable and confident l am, so to speak. Minor stains here and there are easily wiped off with a damp cloth. Due to the colour and nature of the leather shadows can sometimes be mistaken for stains, but you will get used to it. Enjoy your lovely bag!

My Bambou Plume is 9 and perfect, my Chocolate Bolide from 2008, still excellent

A light bag in any leather will take-up more headspace but try not to worry all the time, they were made to be used

Hi all. I have been offered a Kelly 25 in Swift leather. Never had Swift before, is that ok for a Kelly? Or will it be too unstructured? Thanks for any advice you can give!

It's really so subjective... but the size of the K25 means really little to no slouching versus other sizes. I think it comes down to how much structure you really prefer. I prefer very structured bags and do not like slouch, and the K25 in swift has worked well for me. Go see it in person if you can and decide.
