Hi, does Etoupe on Swift appear lighter or darker than on other leathers? I’d appreciate if Etoupe swift could show me some pictures. TIA

Light or dark doesn't quite fit. Swift seems more sophisticated, and more a shade of soft light brown rather dark greige

Hi ladies, my B25 Swift has these light scratches on it, likely by nails. I’ve read that swift is not ‘delicate’ and light scuff marks like these should be rubbed off easily. I used Apple Guard conditioner and a couple other leather conditioners but can’t seem to smooth these out? I am not sure I’d really want to keep it (it was from 2020) if I already have these marks that I can’t ‘unsee’ and can’t make them less visible.
Is Hermes spa the only way? But a 1 y.o barely carried bag? High maintenance, no? TIA.View attachment 5276080F0E35F4D-B3AB-464E-ACD2-F9B743422098.jpeg

@TravelBug, i personally wouls not do anything to a bag myself. I think the general consensus here is to take it to H spa. I’ve done H spa (years ago) and @docride. My gold swift 30 B was conditioned by @docride and it’s been pretty maintenance free ever since. I don’t find swift any more difficult than box, barenia, vache natural etc etc.

For comparison of different leathers, I’m posting my gold swift with balck barenia 30B and blue box 28K. IMO, it’s more velvety and spongier than vintage natural barenia (here in a 35 Trim II).

Gorgeous bags! I love barenia too - have a vintage evelyn in barenia with smudges and marks but it is so unique I love it!
