Lately my B25 in black swift has been my most used bag. If I don’t carry an umbrella I simply put it under my coat. Most of the time it’s my carefree to go bag. Incredible soft to touch yet durable at the same time. The black handles can tolerate leather gloves without fear of colourtransfer. No need to use any twillies. Really easy to close in comparison to box or barenia. Today’s pic

I have 2 Swift bags, a Plume and a Web Bolide. No idea about the Hazlan (better ask on the thread solely about that bag) but I've had no problems with rain (although I try to keep them under my umbrella, kinda impossible with travel bags). Swift, like Clemence, sounds like a good choice for the Hazlan.

Thanks for the feedback on swift leather!

Hi guys! I love swift leather so much. My only two H bags are in swift leather...people are too afraid of this leather in my opinion, similar to how people are with Chanel's lamb. It is much more durable than you'd think. I use my bags quite a lot and they are holding up great. I keep them stuffed when I'm not using them, which I'm sure helps.

Totally agree

I don’t get people’s fear of lambskin, either. I have to admit, I was among those who were fearful of using my beloved Etoupe Swift B25 because of what I’ve read about. Now, no more worries thanks to Swift owners’ great endorsements of such beautiful and sturdy leather.
I believe a big part of luxury is to get things you can’t get anywhere else and leathers ‘so soft you want to rub your face against it’ that no one else can replicate is a big part of it. It’s why we love Swift, lambskin and Suqqu brushes (not a leather, but it’s like a cloud touching your face)
And if you’ve touched and tried on this jacket, you’ll have a hard time walking out of the store without it. Ladies and gents, welcome to deerskin (it’s how a previously ‘smooth leather only’ person like myself got introduced to grainy leathers):

Well, after four days of continuous walking in Paris (I don’t know how many miles in total but I do know we walked 7.5 miles on Friday alone!). Two rainy afternoons, my little swift B on my arm the whole time rubbing against my jacket, jeans etc. She’s been through the security X-ray machine twice, traveled on the train, numerous restaurants and through crowds of people and there’s not a mark on her! She’s in perfect condition. Unlike myself and DH who are obviously not as robust as swift!

Sounds like you, DH and DB had a great time in Paris! I’m so happy to hear once again that Swift went above and beyond its duties.
Maybe the 2 of you need a little spa? ;)

Hi guys,
I love all the smooth ‘natural’ (or natural looking) leathers and was wondering how diffent they look from gold Swift.
Does anyone have a gold Swift bag they can picture next to Fauve Barenia, Vache Natural, ‘Caramel’ Box, etc? Or any other ‘cognac’ colored smooth leathers to see how they differ?
Thank you!

Swift is just beautiful! If I were to be offers any item in swift I’d grab it and run. It’s has the beauty of a smooth leather l, it’s buttery soft and much more resilient than people give it credit for. The very best
Hi ladysarah
I love Swift too, but may I ask you a question? What do you do with those scratch marks? I heard you can take if off very easily on Swift, but I'm not sure what the correct way to do so (rub with fingers?conditioner?brush it off?). The scratch is similar to when you scratch your dry hands and it leaves that whitish mark. TIA!:flowers:

I've moved you question here because that thread is not for such. I'm sure lady s. can help you too but my take (with 2 large Swift bags): If a brush of a clean finger isn't enough, you can 'paint' a fine line of clear leather creme along the scratch and gently work in with a clean soft cloth (white/non-dyed brushed cotton is perfect). If that doesn't work, just leave and let spa deal with it when the time comes as you would with any other leather.
