ladies and gents i wanted to share with you an amazing piece that i have been lusting after since seeing it in the ads, and then first previewing it here in this exact thread...
Reigning queen of H Silver, plumtree, has previewed the necklace and ring in this series, but being the bracelet girl that i am, that is what i ended up getting...
i have been talking about this piece non-stop to DH, and showing him all the photos, and to my great surprise, he presented me with my dream bracelet on Valentine's day...
i can't tell you how obsessed i am with it... the detail is truly amazing!!! it is such an easy piece to wear despite the size, because it's light (lighter than the silver CDC bracelet), and the torsade links are malleable and bend and mold exactly to your wrist, unlike the cuff/clic clac/enamels which are solid pieces.
for those interested, the sizing comes in XS, S, M and L... i have a very small wrist and the XS fits me perfectly... i could have gone smaller actually but there's nothing smaller than the XS.
anyway, without further ado, may i present Galop Bracelet GM

Too beautiful, Carlinha, as a bracelet person, too, was very pleased to see these wonderful pix of the Gallop bracelet. Looks good in the case but so much better on your wrist--this is truly a bracelet made to worn and not just looked at.

thank you luvbolide! definitely the links make it so easy! it also does come in a PM size but that is just one solid silver all around and definitely not as comfortable. i had tried that on in the store a few weeks ago and was disappointed because it did not fit me well. i hope you can see this in real life and decide in person if it is something for you!
i hope she does not mind me reposting her pics here, but i found pics on ebay of the Bracelet Galop PM version... i saw this at my boutique a few weeks ago but the fit was not right for me, and because of that, it kept spinning so the horse head was always at the underside of my wrist due to gravity...
was also very difficult to get open/close for me

WOW. Stunning! I was not smitten when I saw this bracelet in the print ads, but seeing it on you..especially knowing that it is a flexible bracelet..changes everything! Do you find that the horse head flips around to the underside of your wrist like the bangle form? Or does it stay put because it's more of an oval shape? Geez, I was planning to get the Farandole 160cm for my birthday, but THIS might be what comes home with me...

thank you ouija! no the GM does not flip around for me whatsoever because the links are flexible so when it is pushed up to the right part of my wrist where it fits perfectly, it is snug and so the bracelet does not really move around too much ... and even when it slides down to the bony part of my wrist where it is loose, it doesn't seem to flip around either. it is more comfortable for me when compared to the PM when i tried that on at the boutique... the PM was also super hard to open and close, you have to squeeze the bracelet to pop the closure. the GM is much easier to open and close.
the purple pegase still pops up on ebay/reseller sites from time to time, i hope you can find one! it is truly amazing!
