If I can figure out how, I'll post a pic of my pink-bordered CSGM. The colors are so nice and soft, a little muted, in the cashmere. It's a favorite.
I got the black and white silk twill a long time ago and love it as well.
Trying to decide whether to treat myself to the Brun Fonce border. Decisions, decisions…..
BTW, the Noisette color way was being worn by a very likable character on a Law and Order episode from a few years back. That's what got me wanting another color way!

I'd love to see the pink cashmere when you have time , meanwhile if you do go for the Brun Foncé please post it .It does look beautiful .

That siren of silk is still calling me. I have too, too many CSGM's. No, that's not possible! I did manage to pick up some now-classic beauties when they were new, or relatively new, 10-15 years ago. And quite a few since then! Now I'm considering newer classics for these sky-high prices. It makes no sense to anyone who doesn't read these posts, but we completely understand, don't we?!

The black and white LA FEMME AUX SEMELLES DE VENT CSGM is even more spectacular and rare. Look for that one, GG8. You will positively drool.

A visit to H in Bond Street with DH resulted in lots of photos , I thought you may like this one of a vide-poche in our favourite pattern!

IMO the pattern doesn't translate terribly well onto the porcelain .

I was airing out my cashmere shawls and admiring them this morning, I always linger over La Femme aux Semelles de Vent
I have the black / gold and jewel coloured one and also the Noisette.
The black border is true black and the shawl is gorgeous, it works best for me as an evening piece in Winter . Very special
The Noisette is an easy going anywhere with anything piece .

It would be fab to see some LFASDV again, fashions have changed since it was issued so new posts would be fun!
It's still my favourite design , I'm sure you wouldn't regret buying one if you can get it for bearable price.

I just took a look at the E*** listings, JB has the black one I've shown .
The prices are unreal IMO , that dark brown has been on for almost a year , no wonder .

Looking gorgeous. One of the best designs, let's hope H decide to do a reissue so we can buy more without the resellers in-between

Yes, that would be wonderful .
I can't imagine any new colour combinations that would be true to the design , but who knows …maybe a pareo or a mousseline ?

The trouble is once a certain piece is on your mind nothing else will do .
I always give it a few days and sometimes the craving disappears , but sometimes it gets worse !!!
I'll PM you about the seller, had a history there!

I have the same CW in a GM (pic somewhere in this thread) as well as a carré in dusty pink. Both belong to my most worn category.

It's so perfect….as I ponder justifying another "necessity", a pink Lettres d'Erevan CSGM just modeled beautifully on the Ode to the Cashmere/Silk GM Shawl thread!
