Thank you to everyone who posted in this thread, you all helped me discover a beautiful design and figure out which colorway I wanted. Thanks to a fellow TPF member, I finally have my La Femme shawl in black. I

Political Congratulations on finding your glorious Femme, twins with you on this one .
I love it with black , white or grey . I baby mine and rarely wear it for day to day out and about as I so don't want it to become too lived in .
It always feels special to me, and I know you will love it too .

I quite agree. I need to 'retrieve' one of mine from my mother (who already has the same cw as a GM BTW).

Thank you for posting, you look splendid! This was my first H and it's still BNIB; I love it so much (it's the black and gold CW) and it's everything an H scarf should be - bold, rich in colour and texture, and beautifully made. Keep them coming ladies!

I'm joining you with a wish for re issue , but thinking about it the original seemed to encompass most colours I can think of , save a strong green .

This tender pink is a dream with the design , just lovely .

I shall get some new photos together , it would be great to activate La Femme and see all the colours again .

Was it ever issued as a mousseline? If you look at the border, it looks a bit see-through and moussie-like. The drape is consistent with moussies, too.

Not that I know of, unless it was a special edition offered in some remote region of the World but it does look a bit sheer and to my eyes bigger than a 90.
