Yes, you need it! Hee hee. The strap is awesome. I got the 85cm version which is same length as the plain one that came with my bag. They have a Gris Asphalte with ghw stud strap that I was tempted to also get for my etoupe k25. It’s a close enough match in color I think it would go together. I didn’t have my etoupe bag in the store but I placed it next to an etoupe Epsom wallet for comparison. You should check it out for ur etoupe k25
