My first Kelly 25 Sellier in Barenia and GHW. My ultimate combo! Love Kelly Selliers!

This is such a gorgeous bag and in sellier I really love smooth leathers. Huge congrats, so happy this bag found a home where it is truly appreciated [emoji3]

Hi! I have a Kelly 28 sellier epsom but find it really difficult to get in and out of it. I am trying to go for a Kelly 25 Sellier this semester but was wondering if you can share your opinions of the other leather options that are available in Sellier. I’m mostly interested in leather types that are easy upkeep and do not scratch easily. Thank you!!!

There is a whole thread in the clubhouse section on Kelly sellier. I’ve seen tpfers with chèvre, Togo, sombrero, box, tadelakt and epsom. Chèvre and Togo might be softer and also hardy but I know they are hard to find in sellier. Most of what I’ve seen I think are SOs.

Selliers are rarely super easy to get in and out of. That said, a pliable Barenia or box calf Kelly is a little easier IMO than Epsom...but these are not low-scratch leathers

Hi QF - how long do you think it takes for a sellier box Kelly to get a little easier to get in and out of? I am terrified to scratch mine up every time I open it. And I still haven't taken it outside yet, lol - just getting used to it at home! Thanks.

After 3 years of waiting, finally got this beauty today. At first when got a call from my SA, I was hesitate as didn’t expect to get my first K in Epsom Sellier... always picture myself in Retourne. But I instantly fell in love when I saw the bag!!! So here I am joining the club

It’s gorgeous. Congratulations after a long 3 year wait! What size is yours? I have the same specs in a k25 and it was love [emoji177] at first sight too. Even though I requested k28 retourne in etoupe togo ghw I couldn’t say no to this beauty.

I think it depends on the leather. Some box calf stays stiff forever - I have a Kelly like that. But you can open by hooking your fingers under the flap - that way no fingernail scratches. Push the bag open with the back of your hand to avoid scratches there. Kellys take some finagling

I have a question regarding the size of the hardware on the K25 and K28.
I have the feeling that the hardware on the 25 is smaller than the 28? If any of you have both bags, can you please let me know if I am mistaken? Thanks!

Yes HW is smaller on K25.
