thoughts on mini kelly in (1) vert criquet with gold HW (2) etoupe with palladium HW or (3) blue glacier with palladium hardware? i'm leaning towards vert criquet but blue glacier will work better year-round i think? any TPF members have these colors in this size that can offer their advice/opinion. thx in advance!

My vote is for etoupe! I have gris asphalte which is close and it’s an amazingly versatile neutral bag.
I don’t have a mini Kelly but I have a Kelly To Go in Bleu Glacier with GHW. The colour is very lovely and versatile, I used it throughout summer and I’m now using it with my autumn & winter wardrobe just fine. And of course, the pastel blue shade (with the tiniest touch of grey) is perfect for spring! It’s also a great conversation starter I’ve found as the colour seems to be chameleon to many people
I would go with vert criquet, its a seasonal color and so hard to get, specially in mini size
blue glacier is nice but not as special.
In this case, it seems like VC is your no. 1 choice. Make sure that you really love the color not because it’s a hard to get one.
For me, VC is my love at first sight and I managed to get the bearn card holder with GHW from my SA. I used it as a wallet for a while and then one day I need to admit that I’m bored of this color since it’s not my true love. Normally, I’m a fan of pink and neutrals. I still think that VC is a beautiful color but I don’t wanna use it, That’s all. Also, it seems like my chevre VC is getting darker over time.
one more thing, VC will come in chevre but others will be epsom. (please correct me if I’m wrong) Chevre is easier to access things in and out. For me, I have only one mini kelly which is quebracho GHW because I adore Chevre and in love with neutrals. With those criteria, I end up with quebracho and love it to dealth. If you wanna have Chevre in your collection. I think VC is the exact specs you want.
Mini kelly is so popular right now. It’s very difficult to score from the stores or you need to pay huge premium for resellers. Choose what makes your heart sing. Mini kelly itself doesn’t so versatile due to its size. Just choose what you love and you won’t regret it. HTH…

I received a surprising call this afternoon from my SA informing me that a MK in box with PHW had come in and if I wanted to take a look. She said they're quite rare and hardly even come in in box leather - I did mention to hear at some point that I would've loved one - it's reserved for me and will go have a look at it on Thursday.
Though, as much as I was craving for one, especially with GHW - I'm torn with Box leather, I have a love-hate relationship with it. Those of you ladies who own one, how does it wear? I know it scratches easily compared to Epsom or Chevre. Price-wise, is more than other leathers?
