Does anyone use their Mini Kelly in Epsom a lot? Just wondering what it will look like after extended use or is it so impractical that most people just collect rather than use it?

I tried to find well used ones on certain platforms to get an idea, but can only ever find the pristine looking ones (apart from one in Chevre, but that one ages differently than Epsom).

So could it be 2 different strap sizes between the SO and standard (non-SO)? Standard length is 92 cm and SO is 85 cm given that there is only 85 or 105 to choose from when placing a SO?
My mini Kelly strap (non-SO) is exactly 90 cm end to end excluding the clasps. Like all H bags there will always be some variation (for instance, some Kelly 25s are closer to 24 or 26 cm across).

I think it should be fine. I use mine quite a bit but it's very new at the moment. I never buy bags to collect and not use. My Epsom bags look pristine compared to the Chèvre ones which can soften and sag a little. I would be happy to review my Mini K for you, in a few years time.

my most used bags are the mini kellys and I find them really practical for my lifestyle. My phone, card holder and a few other small items all fit so its perfect. Epsom wears really well! my mini Ks still look as new as the day I bought them. while i love chevre and would choose this over any other leather when given a choice, I prefer epsom for the mini K. colors are much more saturated in epsom and seems to pop more in this leather. chevre is also a bit softer and I prefer mini Ks to feel really stiff/rigid.

I have used one of my mini ks a ton since I got it in October 2020. The Epsom is perfect although I have put some nice scratches on the hardware but it doesn’t really bother me as from here on out I plan to really use all my bags.

I'd love your review  Given how rare they are I might still not have one in a few years

Thank you for your input! :flowers: I was thinking similarly regarding Chevre. Glad to hear Epsom holds up well (most of my H bags are Clemence and Swift. Only have a bracelet in Epsom).

Glad to hear that it holds up. I don't mind scratched hardware at all. And happy that these beautiful bags get a good use too

hey All, a quick questions to the lucky ones who already own a mini kelly II: does an iphone 11 (simple 11, not pro or proMax) fit in there? tia for replies!

I have the 11 Pro, which is just a bit smaller than the 11, and I have to take the case off to fit the phone in the MK....but it fits. The 11 would be tight but I think it would be ok.

Adding interior photos here as well for what fits inside a Kelly II Sellier Mini:
iPhone 12 Pro in Apple Leather case (fits easiest catty corner but can also fit staright across the back with some effort, though sides will poke out a bit when bag is closed, perhaps causing a mark on the bag with regular usage).

iPhone 12 Pro in Apple Leather case, full Calvi (opening facing down only), Bastia, and an Hermes Lipstick (must remove lipstick to successfully close flap.)

What about without the leather case?

What about without the leather case?
Your question has caused me to need to correct myself. I just took the case off and tried again. Without the case, an iPhone 12 Pro fits relatively easily against the back of the bag (or front, I imagine). Since the official Apple case is of such negligible thickness, I found this curious and tried again with the case on. Turns out that it does fit along the back edge without angling, however when one then closes and secures the flap, the top corners of the phone bulge the sides near the sangles a bit (much more so than when without the case). I did feel like I was almost scratching the inside of the bag with my (very short trimmed) nails each time I arranged my phone though which was making me nervous.
In conclusion, case or no case, the iPhone 12 Pro fits both straight against the back or at an angle. For me, keeping it at an angle makes it easier to grab without scratching the bag and also keeps the other items secured in their own little areas but I could close the bag with the lipstick included, when the phone case is removed. No matter how you put the phone, it’s still annoying to put it back and rearrange anything else inside to the correct position so I will likely continue to hand carry my phone and leave the bag space for less often used items like cards, cash, and makeup.

Hi guys...quick q.... what is the difference between the kelly casaque and the kelly. I always assumed casaque is the dual panelled appearance. But people have posted just a single piece front kelly as a casaque. Just wanted clarification. Thanks in advance.

Also I was just offered the Kelly II Sellier Mini casaque in the Rouge Coeur/Rose Extreme and Bleu Zanzibar with PHW. Will post it once I receive it. We are still in lockdown so they have to courier it.
