Ode to Kelly Sellier Mini (Kelly Mini II)

Hi guys...quick q.... what is the difference between the kelly casaque and the kelly. I always assumed casaque is the dual panelled appearance. But people have posted just a single piece front kelly as a casaque. Just wanted clarification. Thanks in advance.

Also I was just offered the Kelly II Sellier Mini casaque in the Rouge Coeur/Rose Extreme and Bleu Zanzibar with PHW. Will post it once I receive it. We are still in lockdown so they have to courier it.

There is the Casaque design with bi- colour front panel, it comes in both mini Kelly II and other size Kellys. There are different color combos of this design/ version.

Then there is Rouge Casaque which is a red which the leathers are dyes in. Many consider it one of the true reds used by Hermes. Amongst others it comes in Epsom and Chevre. Hope this helps.

I did and it could be a little longer to wrap on the handle imo. You can do it but its not easy. I will try to post a photo when I get time to put it on again.

Yes, the leather is in chevre. I prefer chevre for mini kelly since the bag is kinda small and it’s easier to get things in and out comparing to epsom.

I did my SO for a MKII in chèvre leather. I always loved the texture and glossy look of it - furthermore, the color I went for the outside, is usually proposed in epsom so I thought, why not, will definitely look nice and hopefully one of a kind

I've placed it a couple of weeks ago, so we'll have to wait to see the outcome.
I did mine in verso, so I went with Blue Brume (chèvre) for the outside, Lime for the inside and contrasting stitches in gris Clair which looked tone on tone with the shade of Brume.
