I have them in black. They run large to size. I sized down a whole size (and I am normally extremely consistent in footwear sizing so this was unusual for me). They are very lightweight, I find them comfortable but they don’t have a lot of support so I would not choose them for a day when I have a lot of walking to do.. I tend to throw them on for short errands like school runs, going to meditation class etc. HTH!
That sounds great I’m looking for a cute flat shoe that’s not a loafer!

It appears that I made the wrong decision to walk in my loafers outside (typically use these indoors only) and ended up with these scratches, any ideas /recommendations on how this can be fixed? I am a little skeptical about using the colouring balms.
Also, has anyone also had similar scratches after one outdoor walk?

Am I looking at the same thing? It looks like the leather is peeling on the top cap. I don’t think that should happen with one walk. Unless you were walking in unpaved road with a lot of gravel. How old are they ?

Yes, that peeling on the top. I got them in December but never wore them outside. And yes, definitely it was not an unpaved road lol. Most of my shoes are suede so I kind of forgot that regular leather can be so fragile.

I have these on all my royal loafers. Just a fact of scraping them up outside.

This has happened to some of my Hermes shoes, but not my smooth leather (box calf or soft calf) Hermes boots, so I mainly buy the latter. I have not really been able to fix it bc the top layer is scraped.

My suede Hermes shoes hold up reasonably well even though suede is considered more delicate

Mine are goatskin and I did not anticipate it to be that fragile. I guess it's a lesson learned for me to keep these loafers as mainly indoor shoes. I don't know why suede is considered more delicate, 80% of my shoes are made of suede and I found those way easier to maintain.
I am thinking maybe using leather repair paint to somehow match the colour of the the scrapped piece

Because most suede on the market is split suede which is much less durable than full grain leather. (However better shoe brands use reverse calf which is just leather flipped over and thus much more durable than split)

I am purchasing another pair of Hermès Oran. My current pair are a 37 (pics) and I am wondering if I should size up to a 37.5 for new pair. The 37 fit good (no sliding) but my husband thinks they look a bit small. Help!

Perhaps try the 37.5 to see how your foot looks & feels in the Oran
I can fluctuate between sizes so, I prefer to try them on in the boutique if both sizes are available, JMO

i just got a pair of Paris loafer in suede. it fits my feet but it's not as big wiggly as some other shoes. I wonder if you had experience with the suede Paris loafer and whether it will loosen up.

I also tried on and love the Lover40, but it's a bit tight on the side where the kelly buckle is. but it's a beautiful pair of kitten heel!
