anyone has a preferred leather for chypre sandals? i have my orans in both calf and suede and the pair in suede is so much gentler on my feet

its mainly the sides rubbing on the bunions on my feet
im in between 37 and 38 but bought 37 usually, not sure if sizing up will help

or if its the type of leather
anyone sized up in chypre? i had a try for size 37 and they fit snug, im considering to upsize as my toenails are touching the front of the sandals though
I also prefer the suede! I typically go up 1/2 size from my Oran Size... so my Oran/Oasis are 36.5 and my Chypre are 37

I think the suede is much gentler on the feet. The sizing is all over the place, so you need the perfect size and you need to try on every pair. It's actually not the most comfortable shoes I have.

Hi, like many others, I’m also Team Suede for Chypre comfort. My suede pair was comfortable right out of the box, and I never had any concern wearing them for many hours, which was not the case with my other pair (Fringed Canvas and Calfskin). I had to go up half a size from my typical H shoe size, but also echo others feedback that you’ll just have to try on a few.

Couldn't resist sharing this new version of the Paris loafer. I prefer hardware to be less prominent and, in this instance, it blends well. The plastic is still on the H so it appears lighter in photo 2 (... sorry for the bad sock styling but just grabbed something for try on purposes).

I’m not usually a loafer person but these are beyond chic!

I have about six pairs of the bouncing in mesh/neoprene/parachute fabric. They are my favorite, most comfortable H sneakers. I cannot wear the full leather ones though as they pinch and rub in weird places and have no "give" to the structure which makes them terribly uncomfortable. Highly recommend trying them on, and even pacing the store a bit, before committing to buy.
which is your fav material for the bouncing?

i think i have slightly wide feet

im quite skeptical of the full leather ones as well

does the mesh version trap dirt easily?

I love the mesh ones. Mine have stayed clean like any other shoe. The neoprene ones are very comfy too. The parachute fabric ones are an interesting idea but I find I wear my pair of those the least as they "wrinkle" and tend to look messy.

If you have the Famosa espadrille slides, are they comfortable? What is the wear and tear? I never own any espadrille shoes, any feedback is appreciated:smile:

so so uncomfortable for me. tore my feet up. i only wore them 2-3 times and refuse to wear them anymore
