Can't get over your pics!!! Yes, you look extreeeeemely happy and I can see why!!!! Fabulous modeling dear and your pics really show off the versatility of this piece.

I think it's so easy to wear and super comfy... I plan to wear this to Thanksgiving dinner with my family so I can hide my round belly after I stuff myself with turkey
Dear IF, this is definitely an excellent plan!!! :lolots: Thank you so much for your wonderful compliments! :flowers: And this coming from you with all those enabling delicious pics of your beautiful Rocabar...! :D

SammyRoyal, do you know if the Alamo is replacing the Rocabar?
My SA was not clear on this, she did say that the Alamo is new, but she did not mention whether or not it was an addition to the line or a replacement for the Rocabar. My boutique just got a new shipment, but only of the Alamo.

I had planned on stopping at two and perhaps getting the Paille next fall, but I might need to rethink that strategy if we are seeing the end stock...:thinkin:
Yes, Monceau, this is at least what my SA said... That it would not be a problem to order the Alamo because it is new and that it will be difficult to get the Rocabar. We were checking for a friend of mine for the Paille. There was one left in my local boutique and only two more within Germany (two weeks ago...). And that's it then. At least for now. I am quite convinced that the Rocabar as a timeless classic will return one way or the other. - The Paille one would be fabulous on you! If you can, go for it!!!

Welcome to the club, you wear your poncho like you've always had it, and perfect wear for the cold...er... library :D
Thank you so much!!! This is exactly how it feels! You are describing this perfectly, dear papertiger... :smooch: What was not really perfect was wearing the Poncho in the library, though! :lolots: Much too warm!!! :sweatdrop:

arabesques.. ive always loved ponchos... and right now just have assorted designers... but read through this thread and somebody mentioned your blog but saw that you don't have a link to it.. well today at work - while searching for more items hermes - it somehow led to your blog.... and read about 20 minutes of it during my lunch break.. fun fun fun... and it helps that we are the same age too and you seem to love marant as well... well done lady!!! :smile1:

I honestly can't give enough praise for the Rocobar poncho. It's heavenly. Though 90% wool, it never makes my sensitive skin itch (not even 100% cashmere sweaters do that, much less H CSGMs). You can rock them with everything, from jeans to dresses. I got my first one after seeing a British woman wear the Rouge with a black dress and Kelly at a fancy outdoors event outside London.

I have only the paille (yellow) and rouge, but I want them all. Seriously.

Always fabulous!

I think we must similar taste, not only twins on the Rouge Roc poncho but also in Land boots, which of course go so well together.

I think they will look amazing on you, everything does ;)

Wear them in good health

Thank you so much! You are always so sweet !

I have finally picked up my Rouge H Rocabar , and I'm thrilled .
Shall post at sunrise......

You are going to love it—and look marvelous. It's truly one of my favorite pieces of Hermès.

Dear amarcasa, your words are very kind and I'm so happy the blog proved fun to read. I've adjusted my signature to make it easier to find. I'm afraid I've never been good at much self-promotion (the link was hidden in the name, but that might not have been clear or even worked for everyone).

I hope you'll return and perhaps even chime in.

Always fabulous!

Yes, the Land boots are fabulous. Really all H boots are. I feel lucky to have added a couple pairs this winter so far, and they'll quickly become my favorite footwear.

I missed this gorgeous photo, arabesques....such a wonderful mix of H colors and textures, and I love the addition of the leopard print gloves too. These ponchos look so incredible on you...would you consider buying more cws, or is your collection complete (for now)?!

Thanks, HfromT. I love my two and find that they cover all my needs, though I wouldn't say no to another if the scarves were to stop calling my name. Sometimes it's a joy just to indulge in the love of what we already have. Someday I'll add a third (or fourth).

Love me red Rocabar .It's a different one to the one I went to bed with , daylight shows the warmth of the Rouge H where the plain section at the front is a lively rust .But the stripes are wondrous and give the piece depth .
Thanks to all of you : Arabesques, Papertiger and Liilth who inspired this colour choice, it feels RIGHT and I know I shall get so much pleasure from wearing it .

Furthermore, ordering online wasn't such a bad idea , no postage costs if pick up instore , and a huge orange box to keep it in . That's brilliant because my wardrobe overfloweth .

OK cut the waffle and down to some photos

I like it very much with the Evelyne , the crossbody works with it fine and serves to keep it flatter too , so a couple to show that.
And a shot with a CSPM in autumnal shades .I think a GM would be too much at least for me , but the 90cm cashmere gives a nice bit of neck coverage .

Now anyone coming for a walk on the Heath ?
