Ode to Hermes Poncho

Love me red Rocabar .It's a different one to the one I went to bed with , daylight shows the warmth of the Rouge H where the plain section at the front is a lively rust .But the stripes are wondrous and give the piece depth .
Thanks to all of you : Arabesques, Papertiger and Liilth who inspired this colour choice, it feels RIGHT and I know I shall get so much pleasure from wearing it .

Furthermore, ordering online wasn't such a bad idea , no postage costs if pick up instore , and a huge orange box to keep it in . That's brilliant because my wardrobe overfloweth .

OK cut the waffle and down to some photos

I like it very much with the Evelyne , the crossbody works with it fine and serves to keep it flatter too , so a couple to show that.
And a shot with a CSPM in autumnal shades .I think a GM would be too much at least for me , but the 90cm cashmere gives a nice bit of neck coverage .

Now anyone coming for a walk on the Heath ?

The Robacar really suits you! OT, how are you liking the Soie Cool? I always thought of it as a summertime bag, but yours looks lovely here in an autumnal way. Do you get a lot of use out of it? Sorry to be OT, it looks great with your outfit!

It is not so very much OT, as the Soie Cool looks really perfect with the poncho IMO! I love it very much and use it a lot. Had, however, the same feeling as you that it is not really a autumn/winter bag and was quite sad about this... But now it is back! And imagine how beautiful this one will look with the red Alamo...

How on earth did I miss this? Froufrou, this rouge poncho suits you magnificently! In fact, your picture is so inspiring, I've impossibly fallen in love with the red poncho further. The sweep of its lines is so beautiful, especially with the line of the Evelyne strap and the lengthening power of boots.

I'm so happy you were able to find the one for you.

I'm one of those who wear all manor of scarves and shawls with the poncho, but the 90cm has a particular elegance, perhaps because of the differing silk texture.
