i would appreciate some jige insight... is the strap that goes through supposed to sit firm and snug inside the H or easily slide out? i had the chance to handle a few (all swift leather) and it felt like perhaps the jige was not secure enough - will that latch stay inside or slip out? if the contents are inside i imagine it will sit up even higher and not be so secure?

it depends on how much stuff you carry with the Jige. I have one and just like any other clutches I can't really bring anything beyond my car key fob, a small wallet and my lipstick. I don't carry house keys so I know it can make it bulkier, but can't comment on that. You definitely are forced to 'scale down' the stuff you bring with you. If you don't over-stuff it, the latch won't slip out.

I just throw all my things in, and the inside of my Jige is actually canvas... oops!

I spent a really long time debating between clutches and then between a jige and a constance wallet and am so happy I bought a jige. I have used her almost nonstop for a couple of weeks. My SA was like “trust me, it’s a good purchase” haha

Here's mine. It's a little bulkier than I would like, but it definitely protects the Jige interior. I also like the pockets.

That's really nice. i hope Mai Tai will make custom liners for Jige.
