Thank you all! I passed on several in the past (orange, vermillion, blue st. Cyr) mostly because I was longing for one in the PM size and the colors were pretty but we're not calling out to me. But this color I couldn't pass on. I'm a very happy gal. Still going to continue my hunt for the PM size though.

Hi everyone I'm new here and would like to ask a question about the Hermes pochette. I asked my husband for one of these for Xmas as I thought that the pochette was similar to the mini Kelly but just with a different handle. So he came through with my pochette but when I showed him a picture of the one I liked he was upset as the bag he had purchased was a lot longer, what I would call a Kelly cut. Gorgeous bag in a pinky white colour but just not my style, Hermes says that this is the only pochette that they do. So my question is what is the bag I want called if not a pochette?

this one is called kelly pochette... i believe the one your husband got you is kelly cut

Yep that's what I thought! I requested a pochette and according to my SA the Kelly cut is the only pochette they make! The bag I want is a mini Kelly according to her, but I thought that a mini Kelly was just a mini version of the Kelly, the mini Kelly's I have seen have a different handle from the bag I have pictured. So frustrated, the Kelly cut is lovely but just not me.

I have heard some SA's refer to the pochette as a "mini kelly."
