ODE to Box Calf

Hey!
I was recently bitten by the vintage bug for box calf bags (already bought a vintage KD34 last week in Tokyo) and now looking to buy this vintage Box Calf B35. The condition is pretty badly worn and was wondering how much the Spa can restore the bag. I don't think the bag will be restored to new condition but if anyone can shed some light on their experience with box calf bags and spasms, I will really appreciate it. I will attach pictures for reference!
Thanks in advance!

I suggest you look into doc’s thread because she is an expert. She carries out restoration herself and has an excellent understanding of leather treatments.
In my view ( not being an expert) this bag would react very well to a professional spa treatment. I cannot see anything non/reversible, but I am looking at fairly flattering photos. It will cost but it will be worth it.

I have seen new BBK 25s popping up at resellers’ recently. I have also seen a Cinhetic in Box at the store. The new Box leather is simply breathtaking. It seems shinier than previous generations’, as can be seen with sparklyprincess’ gorgeous Mini Kelly. Also, darker as can be seen by the attached photo showing my older BBK25 with the store’s new Cinhetic Box.

lxrac.. the bag is DIVINE!! I'm a big fan of box calf & for me there is nothing like it..
The patina it develops over time, is out of this world

Yezzz gurl, you took the words out of my mouth: out of this world! I couldn't believe the beauty of box calfs. They have that hmmm je ne sais quoi. I got this in October. After couple of weeks of researching, contemplating I purchased and I opened the box and I twinkled! pictures don't do it justice. yas! Although the owner did get it conditioned/repaired by Hermes years ago but still.

Here is a pic showing the veins, as circled in blue. Maybe it’s not veins but the Box dye treatment. I have seen streaks like these in other Box bags. Not all are 100a% smooth. What do you all think?
