it takes at least 6 months where i live for a bag to come back regardless of what needs doing. too bloody long to wait and no guarantee of good work..so for my box bags, i have decided to refurbish them myself in the future since i learnt how to condition and polish my vintage box constance from docride. I have done the same to my rouge H jumping boots too..box is pretty easy to refurbish and H probably does the same thing and use the same material :p

i think it's pretty much luck on who works on the bag? i wasn't impressed with the spa job on my raisin box b. but my chevre kelly wallet? it came back beautiful.

Yes, I think that's it....Several years ago I bought a Box Birkin from Sandia and it had a few issues (nothing too serious) I sent it to the spa in Milan and it came back like new! So I think it's not so much where you send it, but who works on it!

Another BAD experience I had with the Paris spa was when I sent my Vache Naturelle Birkin to be spa'ed: it came back totally ruined (I didn't see it, my SM told me) so he sent it back and they recognized the damage, and they made me a brand new one whithin 3 months! When I went to pick it up, I told my SM "this is the first a last time that I pick up a brand new bag without paying 1 cent!" quite a weired feeling!

We are twins!
Don't be afraid to use box, will scratch but will also improve with age...
I'm mindful and not rough on my bags, so hopefully they will love me back :p
I hope you will break out yours, too pretty to sit in the box!

:wave:loves, robee:wave:

lala tdf box collection you have!

Thanks for the advice, fashionistaO! Have you treated your bag too? Also, do you find you carry your So Black year round, or do you find it a bit dark for summer? I've noticed that upcloseandstylish certainly carries hers in warm climates, which has me inspired to do the same!

My latest Box treasure. 35 cm Etrusque Box Kelly. Rocket likes the bag too. Especially the Poms.

I carry mine 3 seasons out of the year, not really a summer bag for me but yes I've carried it in the summers.
I have brique box which is four seasons, overlaps the 3 seasons into summer.

Re: Treatment, only H treats my bags, though there is the Safir brand, it's great for my non H leathers^
