My so black is being spa'd right now, I cannot wait to share how it will look when it comes back！ my hw was scratched off, my fault of course and lots of scratches. I cannot wait to get it back，just to show the magic of h spa! I left it at liat Hermes Singapore and I have great faith in them! The sa was very nice and she immediately saw the scratch on my turnkey. Who says Sg SAs are no good? I've had nothing but the best service from them.

....it's good to know that the hardware on a SO Black can be repaired loves. I seem to recall that when the first So Black bags were being revealed on the forum in 2010, some members were suggesting that damage to the hardware could never be repaired. Can't wait to see your beauty when it gets back from the spa!

This is odd, Seton, as I thought box was supposed to be one of the easier leathers to refurbish. Did it go to Paris, or was it done in NY?
That must have been so frustrating, Seton. I missed my bag when it went to the spa in Paris, so I can't imagine having to wait all that time, only to have to send it back again!
Oh my goodness, these box beauties are sleighing me!!I have only one box bag, a 35cm SO Black Birkin that was given to me by my husband to celebrate a very special birthday. But I'm actually so concerned that it will get wet, or get scratched, that I'm reticent to carry it. Such a shame, because it deserves to be used. Is anyone else here "frightened" of mishaps with their box bags??
I have quite a few box bags, i never hv to really baby them, but them I am pretty careful user from the beginning. My so black fr 2011 still pretty flawless. light drizzle doesnt kill them.... my country is known for nothing thn abundance of rain fall!

funny story. robee almost had a convulsion when she saw me open my so black from the box, i was rough and she refused to let me touch it and tucked it gently back into the box for me xoxo

No, you're not the only one: I sent my brown Box Birkin to Paris last year, and apart from the top waxing which was splitting at the corners, and which was fixed, everything else looked exactly the same as before!
i think it's pretty much luck on who works on the bag? i wasn't impressed with the spa job on my raisin box b. but my chevre kelly wallet? it came back beautiful.
