Just got a B30 in barenia and ghw! It wasn’t my first choice (I wanted a barenia faubourg more) but my SA said they might stop producing barenia leather so he advised me to get this one first before they do so. Has anyone heard the same?!

Omg that’s my dream bag! Congrats! I haven’t heard that they might stop producing it- but it seems like there have been more barenia fauburg offers lately than smooth barenia.

Happy to join this thread. My first barenia and omg is she beautiful! The smell, the blind stamp, the contrast stitching. She even converted me to palladium hardware 😃

I found this B30 smooth barenia online a few months ago…and I love it! (I’m sure I also posted this in another thread but I don’t remember where…).

Beautiful! Never thought smooth barenia will come back in a larger bag. It’s so wonderful to see this.

Smooth barenia remains my number 1 all-time fav H leather. Here’s another heavy duty that I found back in 2023. very solid construction, very heavy. I salivate at the thought of just how much barenia goes into making this bag.

This has developed such a beautiful patina! I passed when it was offered but marveled at how thick and luscious it was. Enjoy it in good health!

I’m only 5 ft tall so this is huge and oversized on me but I just plain like carrying this one around because….barenia scent maximized. (Inhale deep).

There are Finger scratches and finger scratches, and yes, Barenia shows even careful handling really easy in the beginning so even opening the bag without gloves might have left a tiny mark.

Are you talking about leather that has been scratched open ie with a damaged leather structure?

Yes well it is a characteristic of smooth Heritage Barenia that it would mark if you use it even if gently. Enjoy your 24/24!

Yes, I would deem this as normal, too! There will be more to come, but with more and more use they will beautifully blend together! Enjoy your bag, it is a fantastic and hardy leather!
