Hi dear!
Do you think a kelly sellier 28 barenia phw is redondant to a 28 retourne in gold? Also PHW ?
I got this offer. Love barenia but dont want too much repetition
Thanks for your advice

ETA so that whitebus can leave me alone..
If it was a birkin it would be easy but as I already have a gold kelly, I am having doubts
I do think it's a bit repetitive to have two bags, same size, same hardware, one sellier and one retourné - unless you reaaalllly collect. I have seven or eight K28s including gold Togo retourné, and I probably wouldn't repeat in this way. I would wait for a K25, K32, Birkin, or other bag. But, YMMV.

Will probably let it go.. so sad

HAC 32 back from the spa! It's a bit dark here so hard to photograph, but it came back without any of the few spots/stains it had, now just looks like patina'd Barenia. The lock smiley is actually pretty invisible IRL, but I like smileys on Barenia anyway :flowers: Many thanks to @textilegirl for helping me find this lovely.

Thank you!! I found out why I got the "water spots" notice. Spa photographs your bag as soon as it is taken in, and uses that as the "before" photo, so my bag was covered with rain spots and looked like a leopard!

Posting it again with its younger "sibling". I was fortunate enough to meet the artisan who made this bag (the newer one).

Ah, that makes sense! I love how they look together!

I finally freed my Barenia K32 with brushed PHW hardware from customs and will post pics over the next days, it is also from 1999. Guess it is your HAC’s cousin …

Thank you for sharing and how amazing that you did meet the artisan!

Wonderful!! So happy for you. Yes they must be relatives :flowers: Looking forward to seeing your gorgeous bag!

What are people's opinion about Barenia Noir? Are there are pictures? Thank you!

I am debating on Barenia Noir or Barenia Fauve Faubourg.
This is my Barenia Pochette Green. It was brand new when I got it and looks the same. They come wrinkled which some people don’t like. But I love the raw suede interior. It’s water resistant and scratches (light ones) can easily be buffed out. It’s thick and smells wonderful. The only downside is the wrinkling like I said. What bag were you thinking of? It’s also a thick heavy leather so if you’re thinking Birkin, it’ll be on the heavier side.

Thank you for the picture! Please don't laugh at my logic but I am looking to get a K or B noir. Also I am looking for barenia so logically I though of combining my wishes together into 1 handbag. This combo doesn't seem as available or popular compared to the fauve/natural color.

I made a showroom appointment with TRR to see a Barenia Fauve Faubourg B35 since I haven't seen either barenia leather in person before.

I’d go for a Kelly only because I’m a Kelly type of guy. Sellier. 28. Is perfection.
