I, for one, am quite sad to hear this (although I doubt I'm high enough on anyone's list to be offered such a gem.....)

Barenia is not really a very popular leather on the whole. If I were you, I would just make sure (discreetly and yet repeatedly ) that your SA and SM know you love it. You never know. I am very sure that is how I was offered all my bags, including a B25 in smooth Ebene Barenia at FSH. I am in no way a VIP. Bonne chance!

For what it's worth, there is a new noir barenia (the new edition padded sellier) on a resellers site for an insane amount. As this bag is not out yet, it begs the questions of "where did they get it" vs. "is it a fake" Does give us any insight into the availability of noir barenia? I can hope, but........( no worries, my SA is on it! )

An update- according to my SA, that bag in noir is swift, NOT barenia. So amazingly, the reseller not only wants an insane amount of money, but got the leather wrong- quelle surprise!

You can get the earlier version of the Evelyne - it was made in Barenia. The current Evelyne, no.

For normal SO, smooth Barenia is not a leather option at all for any design. Only possibility is Horizon.

When the jypsiere was first released there was a barenia and barenia toile version in the 34 size.
