I don't understand why this offer for sale was allowed to be discussed.
However as a general point, if part of the intrinsic value of an Hermes bag is it's continued entitlement to upkeep and repair by Hermes, if something has been done to remove that entitlement, wouldn't that wipe a huge percentage off uts value - rather like polishing the patina off antique pewter.

I thought it was kind of @allanrvj to post a hard to find piece of Barenia in a Barenia fans thread, Since we don't have a vintage and resale finds thread (this decision was made a long while back after several members asked for it) and the existing "Finds" thread is 95% Hermes websites (and often very common "finds"), makes sense to post it here.
Even if recolored it is still eye candy. I'll take all the Barenia eye candy I can get!

Any chance of reconsidering the separate thread for vintage? Or at least renaming the "Ebay/Web" thread (which I always find very confusing since there are rarely any Ebay posts). While I'm at it making suggestions how about separating scarves and non-leather items?

I promise I'll go back to topic now. :smile:

I agree, I think posting a hard to find Barenia item in this thread is a boon to all of us Barenia lovers/stalkers… I’ve been hunting for a vintage Barenia B or HAC and coming up dry for a looonnnnggg time. Just my two cents but I’m totally down with these kinds of shares :)
