Hi, may I know how long does it take to show for barenia to show a sheen (like those in this thread :heart:)? Is it possible for it to get a bit dark, probably from natural oils from touch, but yet still somewhat dull/matte looking?

My bag is 4yrs old and finally starting to show some patina. I think it has to do with how much you use it, mine sleeps in the dustbag a lot.

Just a quick peek? :p Anyway, the handles has some sheen but you can see the centre is fairly matte even though it's darker :sad:

Hmm, my handles and corners are relatively shiny but not the rest. Guess I'll just have to use and rub it more and hope for the best since matte and uneven darkening is not a good look :frown: thanks for sharing your experience with your barenia bags!

I posted this in latest purchase as well, but I have to post here. The H Gods must be smiling at me for some reason. A month (or less) ago, I was placed on the list for a Barenia B25 or 30, PHW. I got the call today. Barenia Faubourg B30 PHW. I’m shaking like a leaf and am completely in shock. I was settling down for a year or two wait.

Yay! I have a bag twinsie! The smell is divine, my DH and best Judy went with me to pick her up and I wish I had taken pics of everyone in the store stuffing their noses in the bag. Someone took the little bag with the clochette and lock and were huffing the bag! .
