Someone here on tpf said that the Hologram is the holiday collection. Maybe it will hit next Friday?
Macy's has the Taylor tote in hologram, that was not on the list of available pieces that I got from Coach CS. The department stores might get items that Coach doesn't.

My SA just sent me a picture of the hologram market tote. It seems really dark to me, almost like black. Is that common? I saw a picture posted earlier here that one looks quite nice so I'm wondering my store just got a 'bad' one

One SA at Macy's told me Coach would not be included in the upcoming Friends & Family sale (which I think starts 12/2) but 2 others said it would. Presale has started so its possible someone can confirm if the purchased on presale.

I saw the hologram market tote, mercer 24 & 30 as well as some accessories yesterday. I'm not familiar with the first round of hologram items but my SA said that they used a different leather, at least on the Mercers. It was very textured & really made the varying colors stand out. I was tempted but passed. The market tote also has quite the color changing effect depending the light. I would imagine its very hard to get a good picture of it; probably need to see it in person.
I had hoped Coach would have the Taylor tote but they weren't aware of it at my local store. I will probably purchase from Macy's.

The hologram collection at Coach this year is different that last year. It is a bit darker which is why it may have looked black in the picture. If you go to Macy's website, they have better pictures. They also have a Taylor tote which looks to be similar to the hologram from last year. You can compare both totes and see the difference in the hologram leather.

I was able to order the Taylor today from Belk for $210 and change. There was a $10 off code on the website and I opened a Belk charge to get an additional 20% off. Assuming I like it when I get it, I'll get rid of the Market Tote.

Yes, some of the items are made in a buffalo leather and some are still in the pebbled leather from last year :).

I am in Canada so it will probably be $195 + 20% on top of that for conversion, in case anyone was interested :). Also, we don't have the 30% off here across the board like the U.S., but AFAIK, The Bay is having 30% off Coach bags right now :).

I ended up buying the larger Mercer and ordering the Taylor tote. I have the market tote from last year but I prefer something with a zipper.

I saw a few of the new market totes at my store and there were all pretty dark. The leather on the Mercer seem to be brighter but maybe it was because it had so many pieces of leather, and chances of getting some brighter colored pieces are higher. I saw three of these and they all seem to be pretty different. Definitely a bag that would want to pick out in store if you can

FYI, pics of crossbody pouch on websites like Macy's and Belk are incorrect. They show it in high shine pebbled leather like the Taylor tote but it's really the leather like on the mercer. The small wallet is correct with the shiny leather and I'm not sure about the corner zip wristlet yet. I ordered 2 from belk that will be here Tuesday but my local coach boutique only has them in crossgrain leather and couldn't find any in the system with different leather.
