me and my girlfriend are going to this on Wednesday. i have a question, is it safe to bring your birkin as i heard they check in your bags? i am on a trip to NYC and only plan to bring my birkin. thank you! if not, what bags do you bring? a small crossbody bag? will they check in that too?

One year, someone found the shoes I paid 7k for in another color for about 50 to 70% off, if I remember correctly! Definitely a reason to go!!! lol. You never know what you might find.

Plenty of people bring their H bags....I personally would NOT. There is no recourse if something happens to your bag. Just leave it at home and bring that "rain" bag. Everything must be checked in except your wallet and phone.

thank you. but i am on a trip i don't have a "home". is it safter to leave it at the hotel? (although it's 5 star hotel). and i definitely plan to bring the birkin for the other shopping i do. if i check in the birkin with an Envirosax cover it, is it safe enough? thank you, ladies.

So sorry, gals, I won't be able to meet up with you this time around, as I'm running a horse show in Florida all week.

Hope you have fun and snag some great finds again. I'm really bummed that I'll miss the shenanigans at Soiffer Haskins and afterwards. :p

As of this moment, the weather's not looking good for Wednesday :sad:, so I'll probably go on Thursday instead, or whatever day is nice out. :sunshine: It's not worth it for me to stand outside waiting in bad weather. If anyone is going from Thursday - Sunday, please PM me.
