Depends how long you want to wait to get in. 6 a.m. is good if you want to be first in the door. Any later than 7 and you'll be out on the sidewalk for awhile.

Last years sale was terrible except for jewelry. Really a horrible selection of scarves, old old 3 seasons past clothing, and poor shoe selection. So bad that I'm even considering not going to the private sale. I barely bought two ties The sales were much better at the metropolitan pavilion. also there is no point in going early because now they are so struct w the entry time. Literally the time stated on the cards. I stood in line for an ungodly amount of time. I'm going to show up just 10 mins before if i go The line was not that bad and it moves.

if i have invite for private sale for 2-6pm entry - what time do i need to get there ? so they wont let you in early like at the met pav - i had shown up at 10am with the 2pm invite and there were no issues.....they really stick to the invite times ? THANK YOU

Yes they do not let u in until the specified time. It's not worth standing in line for 4 hrs. The line was not long last time but I'm not standing fir 4 hrs again. No way.

I was wondering who is planning to go to the private sale? Did anyone receive their invite yet? I was told I would be getting one but have not received it yet. Do you think I should call my sales rep and ask?

For a couple of years, they let us in early. Last time, they kept to the admission time pretty much. So many people, expecting to get in early, stood for HOURs. It was frustrating. Especially, given the fact that the merchandise was pretty disappointing.

And it was hot...and I had stinkin' bronchitis...but I waited and waited and while i like to think of myself as an eternal optimist, it sucked.

Only thing that made it bearable was the lovely company ;)

I am not going. I was so disappointed last time. I think Soiffer Haskin was more interested in having people line up for show than to create a great sale atmosphere. It was soooo much better when it was at metro pavillion. I hope H realizes that after this sale and goes back!

I'm going on Wednesday and will be there by 6 a.m. Unless I get an invite which was promised to be mailed and still hasn't arrived. In which case I will go on Tuesday.

my aunt has her invite .. and she picked up my mail while i was away on travel .. hoping to pick up my mail and that it was sent^

please pm me if anyone will be showing up on Tuesday :p
