ITA. (Hope none of my posts were among the frightening ones!) There does seem to be a lot of oversensitivity today. Sometimes a question is just. . . a question!

Am supposed to be cranking on a rush job but saw the downer news here about the sale and reference to PTSD. There needs to be an H added in the acronym; reason being H all too often equals stress, disappointment, angst and the urge to spit nails.

Maybe the key is not to expect H to do anything positive other than nice ad campaigns -- oops the scarf storybook -- see even that got chucked into the H black hole. When something nice happens it is akin to a blessing.

Fascinating stuff! H is always such a mystery. IS there any method to their madness or is what appears to be a Deep Game merely PR ineptitude? Inquiring minds want to know!

H is a mystery for sure..& no good clues for solving the puzzle, either

You would think that if other H sales are chock full of merchandise,

that in NYC it would be the creme de la creme of a selection..

The sale was an expensive bust acccording to the nyracked review...

Perhaps looking to discourage resellers?? Would think many of them

probably got to BH...so there are ways to get H merchandise discounted..

I still want to know ( if anyone ever find out) what is H going to do with those left over merchandise? Put in a storage??? Oh wait if that is the case I think we might see what happen to those left over H merchandise on one of the A&E Storage Wars episode! I would love to see how those ppl sell these left over :D

Defiantly glad I did not cxl my massage appointment to wait in line today :)

In my experience, store sales (including BH) typicall many have RTW and maybe shoes. Not the kind of bags etc that the BH store had. Sadly, I think that this year the BH sale was a one-time deal. NY for the last several seasons has not lived up to what many have
expected & sorry to your dismay I do not have any inside info. If any
info was passed on to me confidentially, I certainly would respect that
source of information.


The BH sale sounded like it was an exception to the usual selection
of merchandise that has been available at most sales.

Many look for bags & more interesting H items... it seems H limited
the selection for the large NY market.. sorry to say

I heard from my SA that they do the big sales in anticipation of move to a new store. They will do the same in Houston when they move to their new location in early 2015.
