pinkboopy25, i'm thinking of getting my tragus and rook done, how was your experience with them and healing time. My conch is taking forever to heal.

I got my tragus done about 11 years ago, and it healed fully within probably 3 months, have had no troubles with it. Rook took a bit longer to heal, but that was only because I kept knocking it, or rolling over onto it when I was sleeping. Got that done last year in April and healed by August. As for pain wise getting them done, didn't really feel it cause it was so quick, would recommend getting them though :smile1:

I have two holes in each ear but haven't used the top one in a really long time. I discovered a few years ago that the bottom holes aren't aligned correctly and it throws the top ones off. :yucky: I did try a stud in the top of my ear but took it out when I cut my hair since I couldn't wear them at work.

Thinking of getting my ear done again at the top, maybe on the other side this time..

I have one piercing in each ear. I got a second one in each ear when I was a sophomore in college, but I let them close up. I prefer the classic look of one earring per ear.

i have 2 piercings in each ear. i got the second hole pierced when i was a sophomore in high school. is this look trashy? i am thinking about letting the 2nd hole close up...

what are your opinions on the number of piercings in each ear? just curious!!!

I have a couple in each ear but I no longer use the second hole. Used to have my tragus pierced too but it never healed up so I gave up on it. It looked nice though!

I always wanted multiple ear piercings but my mom was very firm and never let me. She always said it looks trashy in a professional environment.

I'm glad I didn't get them in retrospect. I'm in a fairly conservative industry now (insurance) and going into an even more conservative one soon (more on that some other time).

I don't think it looks 'trashy' per se, but I also don't think it's the height of professionalism. But it's also in how many piercings, what type of earrings, etc. It can look ok and it can look bad, IMO.

I didn't have my ears pierced until the summer before my 22nd birthday. I pulled into the parking lot, went into the department store & then walked right back out. Two minutes later & back I went.
Two years later I had the second hole piercings & 2 years later a third set. The third set I let grow up as three holes in each year looked silly for me.
I periodically wear studs in my second holes just to prevent closing up.

I have 2 in each ear and had one at the top of my left ear but let it close.. I got a stupid little keloid from it and I totally regret getting it done. I like having 2 holes in my earlobe though and don't think it looks trashy at all

I have 12 between both ears. 4 in each lobe, cart, industrial and tragus. I have to take all but 1 set out for work everyday since I work for a high end company they are strict. I have my nose done with a diamond stud but I have to remove that as well! I love piercings, it shows a persons individuality!

Merekat703, I totally agree I love piercing too and I definately think they show personality. I have other piercings as well. I had a microdermal in my right wrist but it rejected so I had to take out, after a year of trying to keep healthy. Who knows another one might be in my future.

Thats such a cool piercing. I am debating a sternum (sp?) chest piercing but my husband isn't to fond of the idea! I used to have my neck done but it rejected :( I have 2 in my belly button to! The girls at work always want to see it lol!

it was my favorite piercing, I'm sad it rejected. I want to get another but not sure where. I have seen the microdermals in the sternum before and i think it looks awesome. Check out http://news.bmezine.com/category/modblog/ they have lot of pics of different piercing and tattoos. I always thought of getting my nape done. I'm still thinking off getting a microdermal there. I got my nipples pierced about a year 1/2 ago. And other then my ears that was my last piercing.

Merekat I had skin divers in my sternum, loved them, and so did my partner! I ended up taking them out though as I kept getting them caught on my clothing which was annoying me! I'd go the skin divers over microdermals though, as they heal faster and are easier to take out if you decide you no longer want them :-)
