The return policy should be interesting....
I have one FP store that basically gives you the third degree when you return a bag - even with tags on!! They ask you in a "Snotty" Voice - "Did you use this?" No - then they practically rip out the lining and stick their face inside the bag to inspect it! The other store just returns a bag without questions asked!!!
Yes, I do buy and I do return but I don't think a person gets a true feel of a bag without taking it home and trying it with all their things plus color matching with their wardrobe.
I think Coach may be changing their stores due to the price of leather becoming more expensive.

I have been in a store that did the "pull the lining wrong-side out to inspect." It made me so mad I've never gone back there. I do not return used handbags and I don't like being treated like a criminal.
But a lot of people do return used bags. Even members on here have admitted to doing it. How does the SA know you're one of the honest ones? I for one think they should inspect returns thoroughly. A bunch of people on here have ordered online and received "new" bags that had clearly been used.
I don't think that checking your return thoroughly is treating you "like a criminal." That's a bit exaggerated don't you think? I think that this is what all the SAs need to do to help ensure that other folks don't get used bags.
I'd be a tad nonplussed to get that search n sniff too , but based on the accounts of used-returns here, I'm not surprised. Unfortunately, the people who use the return policy in good faith are the ones who suffer, while the abusers never ever ever think its THEIR problem.
Honestly, I think every bag should come with its own ilittle black box recorder! What REALLY happened to Coach Bag 109!
I honestly don't believe this. The last time I made a purchase at Bleecker Street store (about a month ago) I was told Coach had LOWERED prices 15-20%. I was so pleasantly surprised by how inexpensive my Courtenay hobo was (+they gave me 25% off!).
I really, really do not think Coach will be raising prices so significantly. It just doesn't make sense to their business model. I think Reed Krakoff is leaving to do higher priced bags.

I did a return on Sunday the SA literally pulled the WHOLE lining out and inspected it - a first for me - but it was NWT so I did not have a problem with it.
How does that compute that they LOWERED prices? Yes they have had more PCE's and Facebook offers in the last year. And they have offered smaller, less-detailed ages at lower price points. But the prices in comparable styles, sizes, leathers and hardware have increased or stayed the same.

that one caught my eye too....i was in serious -oooooooooh...but the more i look...the more i think it looks like the same leather they use on the other mffs...you know the waxy - stiff kind. i do love the design and the LOGO is SOO much better. definite improvements...but i would HAVE to see it in person at the outlet (its there now btw) and i'm on the fence about the seams - there is alOT of seams on that bag. the more i look, the more probs i see...i need to NOT inspect the MFFS so much!! lol
I called my outlet and had sa feel her up for me. She said the leather was soft and puddley, hehe. I ordeted one so we'll see but so far it seems as if this is identical to the fp version. I can't wait to get mine but she's going right back if the leather is stiff.

Wahahaha been thru 4 airports, 3 full body scans, 2 pat downs and a carryon check today. All I need is a cavity search to make this day complete.
