could not agree more my last 4 bag purchases have been from LV ...
i keep trying to come back to coach but nothing is pulling me their way. I have about 300 dollars of credit collecting dust.... every time i think ok this is the bag i want i head over to the fp store and something is off either leather, straps or just the fact it looked better in pics...

hope this get fixed soon!

It is funny, last weekend I was at a FP using my FB PCE and I overheard someone saying that they didn't like anything they were seeing at Coach lately!

I had been running around all weekend on errands and lately I've been noticing how much Coach I was seeing on arms and noting the types of bags. Lots and lots of canvas. I've been drawn to Coach over the last couple of months because of the shift in designs (and primarily the borough) so observing this has been really interesting.

To each his own, definitely applies here but I'm very interested to see if the brand will appeal to the loyal of a couple of years ago again or if they will continue on this design path that has brought new shoppers to the brand.

What drives me nuts is the sizing they are stuck on lately. Everything is either large or mini--I like small bags, but I don't need them to be "mini".... how about having a normal "smallish" size instead? I did finally buy the mini borough and was able to use it, but I would like it a lot more if it was a tad bit larger/not so compact. I was just looking at the prestons, and same problem--the regular is too large for me, and the mini seems to mini.

+1

With the drilldown of the camel/pink ruby out, I think I am officially done with Coach for the foreseeable future.

Don't get me wrong, it's a lovely bag ---

But from the picture from the preview (which I don't have on hand), it seemed like lighter, smoother leather. This camel tone is just too warm and dark for me, and while I loved the pebbled leather in graphite and coastal blue, I feel like here it makes it look a bit dirty, I guess?

But that's just my opinion, no need to go spreading it around.

Totally agree! There is no way I could pull off the regular Preston. So I ordered a mini because I think it will work well for my frame, but I know I will probably need to be selective about what I carry in it.

I have to agree I am disappointed mostly in the shade of the camel. The spring preview pictures made it appear, well, more springy! It looked very much like last year's light khaki legacy color which I loved but thought a bit plain by itself. I think the bag is still gorgeous, but just maybe not what we had expected or hoped for personally. I am searching for a parchment/white/ecru bag with silver hardware and will probably be done myself with the exception of maybe fobs or small accessories.

I was wanting a light tan neutreal so I bought this color. IRL the leather is ALOT more yellow-ey gold than the preview. Every outfit that I have tried it with, the color falls flat and another color of purse always looks better....so back it goes to the store!

I am right there with you ladies! A big pet peeve of mine, but not Coach others are skipping the small/medium bag in favor of large and Mini. I am thinking the Preston is the first bag I liked in a while but also fear the regular is too large and mini too small. I wish it were the size of the MFF Cora domed satchels which are the perfect size. I would think a regular Preston half full would flop over.

Agreed. I had ordered this based on preview pic and after seeing drill down I cancelled my back order.
