^^I have this bag in black and love it. It is super smooshy leather and very easy to carry (I've been using it all week in fact). The straps are not long at all.

The new tote does seem to have much longer straps -- you are right. It is a totally different bag (which is why I am getting one of those too LOL).

the more i look at this tote the more i love it.

i've been looking for a chanel bag that holds more than 2.55 and was considering the re-issue in large.

but this is more casual and as i already have 2.55 a re-issue seem more of a similar style.

does anyone know what leather is it? i love to have it in caviar and in blue. same as the expandable tote posted eariler.
