Huh, this is weird and kind of sad. I was certain this year would at LEAST be just as good as last year with the nice snack boxes. I loved the treats I got in there.

Atlanta: coffee, water, banana bread and several muffins..but I wasn’t really there for the food..

I placed my Icon order last night right at 11pm central but feels like that was unnecessary as nothing has sold out. Grabbed some stuff for the kids, the husband got a Barbour jacket and Cole Haan shoes. My haul:

Stayed away from dresses this year as there was nothing that really excited me and so much was polyester. I was bummed none of the coats were offered in petite sizes for us shorties. Overall did some damage but nothing that I was really chasing, if that makes sense.

My SA pulled the mirror for me so I’ll be grabbing that Thursday.

I noticed an odd thing when looking at my wish list this morning. I had put some cute tiki glasses on there from the home section. Well in looking today, they appear available for purchase and are no longer marked as an anniversary sale item, and have the after anniversary sale price listed on them. I had sent my friend a screen shot of them, which was the only proof I had that I wasn't crazy and they were indeed shown in the preview. I wonder if it will be marked as anniversary sale when I am open to shop or if it was just a glitch...

This happened to me with a skirt. It's now available to purchase as a regular item, but the plus size version is an anniversary sale item. It's odd.

$25 is good just to go to the E bar and grab your own snacks and coffee. Hopefully they’ll give that away for the influencer event, but I sort of doubt it.

My store, Indianapolis, had all the same. Another Icon shopper had to tell me they were also gifting nice garment bags to Icons. You are able to bring them back 7/26-7/28ish for free monogramming

I’m here for my alterations (and snooping), and they’re monogramming garment bags.

They didn’t say that non-Nordstrom purchases you can’t use your alteration credit on on their website. :/

I never need the stuff I actually buy at Nordstrom altered.

So now my anthro pants that were $140 are now $220.

This is the first year where I literally just want three things and they’re all beauty items. And I know that true botanicals will be having a 20% off sale at Nordstrom at the end of July on non anniversary items so I’ll get something at that time.

I am going in Thursday and maybe check out the bras and see if anything else catches my eye.

The problem is Madewell and J.Crew had a great sale and a Mejuri store just opened up at the mall Walnut Creek so I did damage there. By the way Mejuri is doing free piercings on the weekend if you buy earrings. It should be at all of the stores, but only Friday through Sunday through August.

I didn’t see the navy long sleeve Zella t at all at my store. The PJs they didn’t have many of the long sleeve floral ones and none of the navy stripe cropped.

I think I’m going to order all of the pjs tonight & some Zella and leave the rest for tomorrow.

Going to check the stock of the Steve Madden mules & beauty on my way out.

Other than that, I don’t see much.

Sorry had three mimosas. Lol. There were deviled eggs, finger foods muffins. Coffee, rose and mimosas at my event. Bought way more than expected and three of my favorite pieces werent on my list. My CA brought them to my room. Ended up buying all three! Will post later tonight when I get home.

But the three items were the Max Mara Olive jacket. LOVE it. Bought the Camel color last year and wear it all the time.

Then she brought me an All Saints denim shacket. LOVE it. Might buy in both colors.

And bought a polo black dress. LOVE this as well with some sneaks. And I am NOT a dress girl.

Surprise loves are the grey Rang and Bone sneaks and the Vince beige colorway sneaks. Both SUPER comfortable and true to size.

I will say the Nordstrom leopard print cardigan is super itchy. But the Rails leopard print is VERY nice.

In San Antonio we had the treat boxes. They also did the $25 for ebar and card for upcoming beauty event (can’t remember how much since I gave to my SA to order make up during beauty event starting on Saturday when I’ll be out of town). They had coffee, tea or mimosas.
