The Nic+Zoe plaid cotton jacket came today and it’s going back. The website photo is definitely more flattering than irl. No shape, wings out at the hips and too big. I love the two Nic+Zoe sweaters I bought in the sale, but this one is a miss.

I’m also returning the Longchamp cosmetic case. It’s tiny! I get it’s a cosmetic case, but I was surprised how small it was for $70.

Anyone get this Open Edit Johnny collar sweater? Stylish Sandy showed it in her IG post today and looked cute on her. I’m taller than she is but thought it might be cute with the higher waist pants.
Thanks for the review on the blazer. I won’t bother stalking anymore.

i appreciate this feedback! i have tried lots of basics - cotton LS and tees, tanks, and the cashmere jenni kayne dupes are basically identical in softness, style, quality (at least in terms of how they hold up). im glad to hear this though, because this is the first negative feedback i am hearing. good to be wary.
All my linen, cashmere, and silk from Quince has done really well. Everything else has been pretty fast fashion. I love the linen so much, though!

The bulk of my shipment came on Tuesday, here are my reviews on some of the items:

Keeping:
Sam Edelman - Two-Piece Sleeveless Turtleneck Sweater & Satin Slipdress: The slipdress is attached to the sweater by a loop inside the sweater, which will need to be cut off in order to separate the pieces. I like the fit of the Sam Edelman more than the AllSaints Hana Two-Piece Crop Rib Sweater & Satin Slipdress set, and it is $160 cheaper. I will be returning the AllSaints sets.

Zella - Effortless Hybrid Raceback Midi Dress: I like the Black so keeping that one, it is definitely a maxi dress on my 5'4" height. I do not like the Moonbeam color on my skin tone and also I don't like that the padding is visible with the Moonbeam.

Zella – Sport Sleeveless Polo Dress: The fit for this year seems even better than last year’s version. Love how comfortable this is. Debating if I “need” both black & purple.

Nike - all the kids' sweatshirt, shorts etc in Hydrangeas White: I love the color and got all of them in Size XL. The T-shirt, sweatshirt and shorts fits me very well; however the sports bra is very tight and does not have support, and the sweatpants is a little long for me, returning these two and keeping the rest.

Returning:
Open Edit – Luxe Sculpt Rib Dolman Sleeve Sweater & Midi Skirt: There are a lot of materials near the shoulder and upper arms, making me look bulkier. Might look nicer sized down and on someone with longer arms. The slit on the skirt is a little higher than what I would like.

Lauren Ralph Lauren – Herringbone Wool Coat: It was definitely too good to be true for 100% wool coat for $189.99.

Nordstrom - Leather Bomber Jacket: I wanted to like this, but I could not help to stare at the pocket flap placement when it is zipped up. The magnetic closure of the pocket flap is a nice though.

Nordstrom – Mary Jane Flat: I was excited for this, but was very disappointed when it arrived. The shoe already look a bit scratched up on the front, the edges are very hard and rub against my feet, which I foresee being very uncomfortable walking in them. The shoes do not look durable. The padded soles are nice, but just not worth it for me.

Reiss – Arla Double Breasted Wool Blend Coat: The material is very thin, feels like felt material. Also, the fit is not working for me. I think maybe Reiss coat in general just does not fit my wide shoulder, petite height frame.

Debating:
I wanted to start a routine of running/jogging, so was looking at getting nice running shoe as motivation to get started. Currently trying to decide between the On Cloud 5 Running Shoes, HOKA Mach 5 Running Shoes & ASICS GEL-KAYANO 30 Running Shoes. Anyone have insight on these? Thanks

I'm jealous re: your Zella dresses! And, FWIW, I'm a runner and have long been a fan of Saucony. Of the 3 you mentioned, I think Hokas are awesome in terms of their fit and support!

Do you mind me asking what color and size in the bomber are you returning? I have been watching for a pop back in this in the lighter color in an extra small….and haven’t been able to snag one…
Thank you

Mini review
1. Got this purse and it's perfect for me. The black and brown are sold out, only white is left Coach Bag:

2. LOVE the Gazelles:

3. Zella Lift Off High Waist pants - I hated these. They are polyester and feel like it. They don't even look that great on and I can't get over the cheap feeling polyester all over my legs. Zella Lift Off pants

I got a few staples that aren't worth reporting on but I do love this blanket I got: Nordstrom Faux Throw Blanket

My BD cardigan in Coal is in "delayed shipping".

Morning all! I woke up to see a couple lovely emails- My towels finally shipped, and the Nic + Zoe shaker cardigan that I snagged also ended up shipping!! Im surprised about the cardigan, it has been the most difficult to find. That being said, I really did want the navy/red one but I got the cream/black, I will continue stalking to see if I can snag the navy!
