A few things are showing as 40% off (Apparis trench) and 50% off (Vince coatigan). For the quality, I still think these pieces are overpriced and should be in the $100-150 range.

I agree. Also, I am eyeing a few things at Madewell and J Crew with their current sales.
There are a couple of EF things that are marked down more than AN, some only slightly more like $1 less.
What is everyone thoughts on the Vince coatigan?
Why do you think the quality is lacking?
I’ve found the Coatagins to pill really bad. I purchased mine from Neiman Marcus and it pilled after two wears. I don’t think the quality is there at all. That said, their 100% cashmere sweaters are a great purchase of you can find them marked down. If you are patient you can snag them for $100. I have two and really love them.
This. If you look at some of the reviews where the shopper actually details what happens after wearing it (as opposed to a review that simply states “OMG LUV IT! Instant staple in my capsule wardrobe, so classy and chic! MUST HAVE!”), the reviews are overwhelmingly negative and that the coatigan looks pilly and years old after wearing it once. I agree that Vince’s cashmere or cashmere/wool sweaters are better quality.
Ive never had a Vince that that didn’t pill terribly. Wait, I take that back, I do have one. But most of them are terrible. I keep buying them anyway bc they’re so cozy.
I had a Vince coatigan from probably about a decade ago that is still going strong without any babying. There is some fuzz on the arm area where there is frequent rubbing but not noticeable since the color is dark.
Last year or the year before (losing track of time) I bought the Vince coatigans in grey and in black during the anniversary sale and returned both because the material was so spongy and reviews came in and they were terrible. It is too bad quality has deteriorated over the years.

I ended up buying another BFD cardigan I got one in large and now I feel like I have sausage arms wearing it. So I got another in XL. It is cheaper than the nsale price now, it was 99 now 73.
I just got an email from a Nordstrom rep about a Tiffany show… “For a limited time, September 20th through September 24th we will have Tiffany & Co. curated product for the first time ever. This pop-up will take place during our Nordstrom card triple points event.”

This happened on Sunday at our Nordstrom Topanga store where we shopped at the Anniversary sale @HeatherGrace
I spoke to Debra and she said none of the sales staff was injured but alot was stolen and the security guard was sprayed with bear spray. Its such a nice store and this just breaks my heart for the wonderful employees
Oh my goodness this is just awful!!! Why would anyone do that?
