So, my trunk show is this Friday. Not sure if I have to be in person to get the discount. I've gone in the past, and everything has some kind of discount. I don't know if I will go this year. I don't really have a budget for jewelry, but I also don't usually let that stop me.
I also really want to know the answer to this question...
Here are the Zella compass joggers in medium. The charcoal is more like a faded black and makes these look more worn than they are. Of the two colors, I prefer the olive. I would definitely go with your true size in these. I have several pairs of Athleta joggers and travel pants coming soon so I’m going to wait and see if I like any of those more than the Zella and maybe stalk the olive in size M.My second order arrived today… such restraintOSEA set box has a smudge on the top but the items appear unopened.
Here are the Zella Compass joggers in charcoal, size S. I’m beginning to think that Zella bottoms may not work for my body. The waist fits perfect but it seems like the crotch area in all the Zella bottoms I’ve tried bunch up in an unflattering way. I usually wear smalls in Alo shorts and leggings. I could use a bit more room in the thigh area but I have muscular legs.

The fabric feels like a thin warm-up material. It’s slightly stretchy but these are definitely power walking, walking the dog, or getting coffee/general loungewear pants. I would not work out in these out of fear of splitting the seat of my pants lol.
Jury is still out on the joggers. The smalls fit like a size 6. The length is perfect for me at 5’4” but would be too short on someone taller. I placed an order for the mediums today and will wait and see which pair I like better. I hope the mediums aren’t too billowy and look like hammer pants #canttouchthis
My trunk show is this Friday as well. I got one of my favorite pieces a few years ago at a BL Trunk show. I replaced my anniversary eternity ring (with my husbands blessing). It was exactly what I wanted, was one-of-a-kind at the trunk show, 33% off and just my size. I want to go just to look, but all that sparkle puts me in a trance and there is no telling what I could end up bringing home.So, my trunk show is this Friday. Me! They usually have bubbles and snacks. They rope off the fine jewelry area and they fill the cases with more BL items. 18k is 33% off and 14K is 25% off. A ring I purchased at a trunk show a few years ago has never been offered online. It's fun to see all the bling if you're into that. Usually the SAs are super busy, so they like you to make an appt with your stylist.
There's a David Yurman trunk show this weekend in-store. Just curious if a bracelet I was considering might be discounted there.

I’ve been in person to a few trunk shows but it just meant they had a bunch of extra pieces out (sometimes the designer there in person too) and it lasted a couple days and if it happened to be during NAS then the pieces were marked down. Anyone could come in and shop. I considered all the ones that I happened across to be “my” trunk shows.
So, in general, a trunk show is when the designer (usually) makes a special appearance and brings a lot of merchandise that the store doesn't normally carry. Sometimes there is a discount, sometimes there isn't. As for the Bony Levy trunk shows, they have special dates featured during the Anniversary Sale. When I said "my sale is Friday," I meant the trunk sale was going to be at my store this Friday. Bony Levy himself, makes an appearance. They have drinks and nibbles to create a party atmosphere. At the trunk show, they fill the cases with all kinds of BL pieces you wouldn't see normally see, and offer a discount of 33% on 18K and 25% on 14K. I hope this helps.
