Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2022

I’m kind of relieved to be down to Ambassador. I’m not sure my husband believed Nordstrom was grandfathering us in and lowering the spending levels even though they really were. I will miss the Icon lunch and free alterations.

I discovered in the 2022 sale that I don't really need to be a higher spending level. I have entirely too much already due to excess spending in 2020 and 2021!

Same I'm kinda shocked I was Icon for so long, I don't feel as happy shopping with Nordstrom as in the past, the merchandise is almost of a Macy's standard now, the Anni Sale is not as exciting, Saks, Neimans and Shopbop have better sales and products, I also have way too much, anyways.I’m kind of relieved to be down to Ambassador. I used to shop here exclusively due to quality and CS but 1 out of every 3 mail returns gets delivered but has to have some sort of follow up (taking weeks to process or they don't process an item in the box,) orders ship in 10k boxes and something always looks slightly used to tried on too much.
That being said I'll still shop here and stalk the sale just won't feel like the status is as fun as it used to be. See y'all in June/ July!
Same. I was always surprised that I was Icon status as I hadn’t hit their spending level in a while. My daughters and I enjoyed the free Icon dinner in December which was great but to be honest we could eat somewhere nice and have just as much fun shopping and end up money ahead rather than shopping more just to achieve Icon status. Honestly, I haven’t spent anything at Nordstrom since December. I’ll probably grab a few thing I have my eye on when they go on sale and only get what I want or need from the anniversary sale.
I'm in for the sale, but I don't really need much. Mostly beauty items, I'm a sucker for gadgets. 
I need to start inventorying (how ridiculous does that sound?) so I can put together my list!

Hello to all. Love this discussion group and always happy to see when it starts up again. I actually just started looking at last year's purchases from the Anniversary Sale to see what I got the most use out of. I did better than in past years but there were several items that were just ok and weren't used/worn as often. Will be starting to make a list for basics and must haves but I know how quickly that list changes once the online preview opens.
