I know we haven't seen a lot but I"m curious what people think will be the big sellers this year? I'm sure the Diptyque candle set will sell out and the Tom Ford makeup. Of the clothes I've seen I think the BP leopard cardigan and the Good American leopard jeans. Leopard seems really in, though I don't think it's ever gone away... Then I'm sure if there's another MCM bag that will sell quickly too. Oh and if there's another pink Longchamp like last year.

True - I just didn’t think of it as related to the sale. Saks and Bloomie’s are always running these kind of promos and I’ve never understood why Nordstrom didn’t do it every now and then. That said, you are right - it’s a great deal! Seems like I found my incentive to buy the $400 Dyson hairdryer that never goes on sale, right?!

Looking forward to the sale as always, the most fun is trading notes with everyone

agreed. the sale is fun, it's better than many other stores, plus they're giving us early access and extra notes, etc. let's be cheery!! even though CS can be so goddam annoying when they insist in an overly-warm tone that they CANT LOCATE A SINGLE ERIC JAVITS FEDORA IN ANY COLOR that I "successfully" ordered 37 times (this may or may not have happened to me last year).... I don't care im still soooooo excited!!!! what new thing will I need this year that is totally not on my radar right now and which I will return in august/September?! I cant wait to find out!

yes good point... neimans is always having sale on sale and gift cards.... like to the point where I don't buy anything if theres not a perk cause I feel like a dumbo. like if you buy something at Gap for not 40% off you feel like you were totally duped. lol.

Yes, an employee told me that they were the sale was starting online at 12:30pm est to make fair for everyone...so people didn’t have to stay up until midnight to shop the sale. But that was actually fun for me....you know you are a devoted Nsale shopper when you stay up and shop all night

I LOVE staying up and am bummed it’s going to be in the morning. I recently went back to work full time so I won’t be home. Hmmmmmmm. Might have to take the day off.

How does in store purchases affect early access? Would we be able to go in store to purchase and sales rep order what’s not available prior to 12:30 est?

I’ve read everything online I can find, I don’t see any exclusions on purchasing $400 in gift cards to receive the $100 note. Use a double point day and you’re close to another $20 note. Am I missing something?

Thanks! Depending on which coast you live in this could be an advantage or disappointment from popular stock being depleted from West Coast brick and Mortar. Can you imagine the employees having to remove their popular inventory and ship it to East Coast customers due to time variance? Could be messy...

Okay now I feel like a dummy... why would this year be any different? The sale always opens in stores 3 hrs earlier on the east coast right? What am I missing?

I would prefer midnight personally... at least I can choose to shop at that time with no other responsibilities. Friday midday?! Nope.
