I think this is the 9th year I’ve shopped this sale, and I miss the days when not only were the employees pumped about the sale, but they went the extra mile...it used to be an event. I remember being greeted with the eBar drink of my choice the morning of the sale, and I was in no way a big spender. It used to feel like magic, I think social media and blogging has transformed it entirely. It’s still fun, and I look forward to it every summer, but it’s just a completely different animal now.

I’m updating my earlier post: last year’s jacket had a removable insert so it looked like there was a sweatshirt underneath. This year’s version looks like it has a removable hood only, FWIW.

The bloggers that have teams are really killing the sale for me this year. One of them posted racks of clothes Nordstrom send them as a sneak peek. I would prefer them to dress room selfies etc bc now it no guessing why they will keep pushing the same crap...

Just wanted to say that as a longtime Icon we went to see some items the other day and our SA showed us the Longchamp cuir in emerald. It is actually a true forest green, so those who have mentioned they prefer that color to a bright green will be happy.

We have been lurking for years but as a final year Icon, like a few others, look forward to shopping tomorrow.

Thank you so much for the intel on the green Longchamp Cuir! I think I was the lone weirdo who wanted a bold emerald. Now I know to redirect my funds elsewhere!

This video was just posted to YouTube. Looks like Anniversary Sale fashion show...has a ton of stuff we already know about, but also A LOT of designer stuff we haven’t seen. I’m so confused. I mean it’s got YSL, Valentino, Gucci items, accessories, shoes etc. I’m hoping these items will be part of the sale but really, who knows. There’s so much confusion this year.

It’s been suede booties, long cardigans, and camis, with those BlankNYC jackets thrown in....for maybe 3 years running. They know it too, bc those items are now available in like 8 colors each, whereas in previous years they would offer 2-3 colors. TPFers have always been good at predicting the hot items of the sale too, which is funny. It’s not a challenge anymore though, just copy/paste last year.

All of those items are definitely NOT in the sale, I wish they were! I love the Valentino bag!
