Non-H Shoulder Strap Success

I’ve clearly spent way too much time on Etsy because I ordered a couple of leather straps from a Dallas, TX seller for my teen daughter to use on her little handbags cross-body style. I borrowed one to try out with a Kelly and kinda like it. :)

Not trying to be a Fendi copycat or anything, but here it is paired with my tri-color Kelly in rubis, tosca, and raisin. I have the original strap in raisin and had never thought to try out additional straps because color matching seems too difficult and the bag itself has a bunch of colors already. Thoughts?

Very fun! Also like it with the scarf, and sorry to see from your other post that you don't wear it - it goes great with the bag.

Thanks! I enjoy the colors very much but I think the color “absinthe” (I was wrong when I said it was chartreuse) looks best standing some distance away from my complexion which has its own yellow undertones! Lol.

I really embrace the notion of mixing and matching so it doesn’t concern me if I put a non/H strap on an H Kelly, bolide or evelyne. I’m all for being able to get the most versatility and use out of my bags so if adding a non/H strap makes it more likely that I’ll take a particular bag out for a spin, then I’m all for it. In the past, my biggest concern has been whether a non/H strap will fit my older H Kellys that don’t have the second loop and if the strap hook could damage the Kelly handle. That’s always been my biggest obstacle. For Kellys post-2000 with the second loop, it isn’t a problem. [emoji3]. Whoever came up with that second Kelly loop is a genius!

Hi all i was reminded today by howshespendsit youtube vid that a fellow reputable reseller i know actually has her own business of straps and can match colours to H!
She exclusively sells straps on IG called @Myastrap
This isnt a shameless plug i have no affiliation and i usually only follow her main IG acc for Hermes reselling but i seeing the youtube video today i felt its best i inform everyone who is seeking a non-h strap. I might in the near future be buying a bag in anemone which wont have a strap so now knowing this gives me much more confidence in buying this bag

FYI, the person is a HE not a she. It's been discussed here. And he's far from a reputable reseller. He sells exact copies of Hermes bags without the Hermes branding and I would never trust anyone without an integrity to buy any item that he peddles.

He also lurks on this forum and lifts info to be used on his Naznazif account without giving proper credit. (Yes, he took something I posted here on the forum and posted it on his IG account without giving due credit even though I had watermarked my pics and just played it off when confronted.)

Well thats an unfortunate experience i too have been the victim of stolen photos many times from my IG. But either way my post was just sharing another strap supplier objectively (irregardless of being share before as some dont trawl back through history) and will leave it up to the discretion of others whether they would want to use this supplier as a non-H strap.
